Such a nice hostel with comfy beds and a spacious bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and breakfast is delicious. Would be my top choice for a stay if I’m back in Almaty.

The staff made this place feel like home. The breakfast was some of the best, “made with love” food I had on this whole trip. The rooms were clean and the house was well taken care of. Having breakfast included made it easy to meet people. The location is a bit far from the centre but there’s several bus routes close by and lots of convenient stores within a few minutes walking.

Booked in advance for 2 nights and was put on the couch in the common area for the first night because they overbooked the hostel. Apparently this happens quite often. Still had to pay full price. Then one of the ladies got mad at me for being out all day and not there to change to a dorm the next day. Not the easiest place to find if arriving at night, bit of a long spooky walk and no signs. Not many bathrooms so have to wait sometimes.
