Our expectations were not met. Unfortunately our bunk room did not have working lockers and many of the bunks had broken or missing curtains. It felt as though there was no effort being made to fix any of these things. Also, none of the windows in the room opened meaning there was no opportunity for fresh air. We were also there during a heat wave so it was unbearably hot in the room.

1. had to give everything a 1 to get an overall rating lower than 4.3
2. + guy at reception tried to help (but couldn’t)
3. room aromas aren‘t the solution to rid the smell of yeast
4. windows sealed at same time no functioning ventilation system in place no way to open windows
5. by end of the evening, condensation on the windows und very high humidity (these conditions appeal to fungi)
6. 2 toilets allocated for 24 people is not really feasible
7. 4/8 lockers in the room were broken

Great spot for the price. Hostel is located down a darker side street - something to be aware of if you are arriving late at night. The room was quite nice with a comfy bed, and bathrooms and showers were clean. My main complaint is that there was loud music playing in the hallways early in the morning and late at night (loud enough to wake me up). Not sure why this was in the hallways and not just in the lobby. Otherwise a good stay.
