Welcome to Clink i Lár!

True to its name—which means ‘in the middle’ in Irish—Clink i Lár puts you exactly where you want to be. Located on historic Abbey Street, our brand-new hostel is the ultimate base for exploring Dublin’s heart. Getting here is a breeze; whether you jump on an express airport bus to O’Connell Street or take a local route, you’re only a 5-minute walk from our front door and the city’s best sights.

We’ve designed every inch of the hostel with the modern backpacker in mind. You’ll find a wide range of accommodation to fit your budget, from social shared dorms to sleek private rooms. To make sure you get a great night’s rest, every dorm bed comes equipped with its own privacy curtain, an LED reading light, and dedicated power and USB outlets for your tech. It’s all the comfort of a hotel with the soul of a hostel.

The social vibe at Clink i Lár centers around our very own WunderBAR—the perfect spot to sample your first local pint or discover Dublin’s finest craft breweries.

Loved my stay in a private room. Wonderfully scented soaps in the shower and a hair dryer too. Loved the Thursday night entertainment. World class artist: Sean Burgh of the band Stap. Nice towels and also cozy bed with a great view, desk and vanity. The bar/cafe was set up perfectly for socializing with other travelers. Also, it’s centrally located and 5 min walk to the best VEGAN food at Cornocopia. Temple Bar area is only a 5 min walk too. So was my tour meeting point. Loved this place!

You are bang in the city centre, a min from the Ha'penny bridge which gets you into the middle of Temple Bar. You can walk just about everywhere. We checked in online so skipped the queue at the hostel. Super easy. The bunks were clean, huge, comfy and had all you needed (light, plugs, hooks, shelf). The showers were boiling hot and great pressure. We stayed in a 12 bed dorm but slept well. There is construction that starts at 7.30 every morning 😭. Staff amazing, friendly, super kind.
