Every evening at T5 Social brings a new event starting at 8 PM, keeping things fresh and exciting for our guests, travellers, and locals alike. Our vibrant common area is always alive with creativity, whether it's an impromptu jam session featuring our musical instruments like the piano, guitar, ukulele, accordion, or flute. For those who enjoy games, we offer over 100 board games, a ping-pong table, and regular events focused on chess, poker, and backgammon.

BAR 🍻
Our in-house bar is open every day from 9 AM to midnight. It's the heart of our space, perfect for starting your morning with a coffee or ending your day with a drink while connecting with new friends.

CO-WORKING SPACE 💼
Need a quiet place to work or catch up on projects? We've got you covered with a dedicated co-working room available Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Stay productive with fast, free Wi-Fi offering upload and download speeds of 300 Mbps. Whether you're remote working or planning your next adventure, you'll find the perfect blend of focus and inspiration here.

BOOKING ✨
If you're travelling solo and looking to meet others with the same adventurous spirit, this is your space. We prioritise individual travellers seeking fresh connections over groups. We operate as a solo backpacker hostel and only accept guests travelling with an international passport. Groups of three or more are not accepted, whether booked together or separately. You must be 18+ to stay with us, and just a heads-up, we have a friendly house cat waiting to say hello. All bed bookings must be made via our official website. We do not accept bookings on arrival (walk-ins). If you arrive without a booking, you can check availability online and complete your reservation there.

DORMITORIES 🏨
Comfort and convenience come as standard: each bed is equipped with a reading light, USB port, secure locker, and dark curtain for added privacy. Don't forget to bring your own padlock to keep your belongings safe. If you forget, you can purchase one at reception. Quiet hours start at 11 PM, though on Friday and Saturday nights you can expect a little more energy as we embrace the weekend vibe.

RECEPTION 🛏️
Our reception is open daily from 9 AM to 1 AM. Check-in starts from 2 PM. If you'd like to arrive earlier to drop off your bags, we kindly ask that you do not arrive before 9 AM, when reception opens and we're able to assist you. If you're arriving very early in the morning, we recommend grabbing a coffee nearby or doing a little sightseeing until then. Please note that we are unable to accommodate check-in after midnight. If you are set to arrive after midnight, we strongly recommend cancelling your reservation in advance and arranging alternative accommodation. Arrivals after 1 AM without prior arrangement may be treated as a no-show and are non-refundable in line with our policy.

IDENTIFICATION 📌
A valid government-issued ID is required at check-in (international passport required for all guests). A full name, email address, phone number, and valid credit card details are required to make a reservation.

PAYMENT 💳
We're a fully online hostel when it comes to payment. Your stay is paid in full at the time of booking via our secure payment link, so when you arrive, all you have to do is check in and start enjoying T5. We don't accept payments at reception, whether in cash or by card.
A city tax of 10 RON per person, per night applies to all stays. This is set by the municipality of Bucharest and we simply collect it on their behalf. It's paid at check-in, separately from your accommodation.

CANCELLATION 🕒
We're a fully non-refundable hostel. This means your full stay is charged at the time of booking, and your reservation cannot be modified, cancelled, or refunded after that, whether you cancel ahead of time, don't show up, or leave early. In exchange, we keep our rates as friendly as possible and put all our energy into making your stay great rather than chasing paperwork. Please book with this in mind.

HOSTEL UNAVAILABILITY 🛠️
In the unlikely event that the hostel becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, T5 Social reserves the right to cancel the booking. Any payments made will be refunded in full.

Respect our no external alcohol policy. Our bar is open all day.
Avoid the distribution or use of illegal drugs.
