There was a problem with my reservation. I booked 3 nights in a 4 bed dorm and 1 night in an 8 bed dorm. However, when I arrived they had put me for all 4 nights in an 8 bed dorm and said there were no other beds available. The guy doing the check in was nice and tried to find a solution. He offered me 2 nights in the 8 bed dorm and 2 nights in a private room and a discount. However he didn't tell me that the door of the private couldn't be locked and there was no shower in the other building 😠

Staff was excellent. I was quite ill for a couple of hours and the staff was concerned and attentive. The room I was in was adjacent to the patio, which was the smoking area. I had to close the window (in the height of summer) to prevent the smoke from coming in the room, but even so, it was seeping through in the closed door. The other annoyances were due to other residents in the hostel. I suggest just making sure exactly what is adjacent to your room before you book. I liked the vibe there.
