Ostello del Bigallo - Bigallo Hostel

This former monastery, dating back to the 13th century, called Antico Spedale del Bigallo, has been renovated and equipped with all the necessary comforts to offer modern travelers the same shelter and unique experience as once, in its original medieval atmosphere.

At our Bigallo Hostel, you can choose to stay in one of our private room or in a characteristic dormitory.

Basic dormitories:
If you are traveling with your friends, family, or in an organized group, we suggest you to choose one of our luminous dormitories: one that sleeps 5 and the other 8 people; an ideal solution given their spaciousness and comfort.
The decor was created by local craftsmen following designs of renaissance beds found in paintings from that time period. Each bed has its own storage space (locks can be requested at your arrival).
Both dormitories share some bathrooms with shower on the same floor.

It is possible to request a set of towels with a supplement of 3,50 euros.

Dorm with alcoves:
Sleeping in alcoves is without doubt the most unique solution at the Bigallo Hostel. These small wooden cabins will give you the feeling of ancient pilgrims with a touch of modern privacy. Within a a spacious and luminous dormitory, we offer 12 alcoves, each with two single beds. Bathrooms are shared. It is possible to request a set of towels with a supplement of 3.50 euros.

Girls dorm
Just for girls, it is possible to reserve our special 5-beds dorm, spacious and with an unique garden view, disposing of its own private bathroom with shower.

Private Rooms / Family Room:
And if you prefer some more privacy, just choose one of our 4 double rooms (with the possibility to add one or more single beds), all equipped with private bathrooms with shower. It is also possible to add one or more single beds in the rooms. If you are travelling in a small group and want to enjoy the comfort of a private room, don't forget to ask for our family room. Sheets, towels and daily cleaning are included in this accommodation.
