Mandala’s Hostal

The hostel is great. The rooms are nice and very clean, with space and comfortable beds. The rooftop with the shared area is really nice and chill. The owner of the hostel and the staff are amazing. They helped me with anything I asked, and they built like a community of the people from the hostel which everyone helps with something. Also the location is great and beautiful view to the lake. Really recommend to come.

Absolutely in love with the hostel, great vibe, amazing people, beautiful rooftop terrace- a place to be social and connect but also find stillness within. I feel safe & home here :) many places around to get a coffee or some yummy food super close to the pier where you can take a boat to explore the towns around. If you’re staying in San Pedro this is the place to go & be!

Great price for a great hostel!! Small and locally owned, I would happily stay again and recommend to anyone. Central location, amazing staff (shoutout Jose), and incredibly affordable. It is a bit daunting if you’re checking in at night, as it’s in a dark small alley, but it’s a very safe town and super helpful staff! Looks completely different in the daylight, lol.
