Guaya Hostel

The female dorm was full of mosquitoes,we had to go and buy spray from the shop to spray the room. The owner was friendly and another lady however, the younger girl on reception her face was like someone had died not even a smile when we checked in, we felt a bit weird we thought maybe she was just having a bad day however,she was like that the whole time we were there. I don't think she should work in hospitality whatsoever.

Great staff, very welcoming. Perfect location as they're 1 block from the ADO station & tons of little restaurants to grab a bite to eat. Stayed in the womens dorm, its huge. Big lockers for luggage, electrical sockets & dimmed lights above each bed, bed was comfortable and bathroom was huge. Loved the house dog Coco and Santiago was a great host, very informative & courteous. Shelly (the house volunteer host) was a pleasure to visit with. Will definitely be back to stay in my future travels!

I only booked for one night as I was departing the next day. The building itself is a jewel, please observe the beautiful vintage tile. Free breakfast was delicious, and then I caught the ADO bus. I got no complaints, quiet hostel, good nights sleep, the staff was friendly, free water. Would stay here again.
