Don’t make the mistake I did. What ever you’re thinking about booking, add more nights. Staff is excellent, felt more like friends who got a cabin together than a hostel. Location is great. Will be back to ski, no doubt.

Freeride Lodge has everything any other hostel will offer but what sets them apart from other places are the people, especially the staff. So welcoming, so accommodating, and just genuinely good humans. Vibes were unmatched all week. Easily one of the top highlights of our Japan trip.
