Had a great stay here. I enjoyed the location. Being my 3rd time to Tokyo I didnt need to be next to Shibuya or Shinkjuku. This area wasn't as crowded, but still a lot going on. Staff was very helpful and helped me whenever I needed. Hostel was clean. My only gripe was the showers are all on the bottom floor and there wasn't any sort of atmosphere.

This is not a good hostel. First of all, it’s not social at all, it has a weird vibe when you enter. Secondly, the smell from the restaurant when you enter is pretty bad. The small and smelly common area is just not an inviting place to hang out. The facilities are not good. There are no separate bathrooms and toilets for men and women and you have to go to the ground floor to shower. We checked out 2 days earlier and paid full price because it was not a nice hostel.

I think this hostel was great in some ways but a bit lacking in others. Check in was easy, and the staff were lovely. The doors to the dorms lock automatically, so feels safe. The beds were really comfortable, but the walls are very thin so any noise gets through. The showers were good and didn't have to wait ever. There was no real kitchen however, just a microwave and kettle and fridge, but couldn't cook a meal there. Like many hostels in Japan, there was no real atmosphere, no one talks.
