On weekends or holiday nights there are more events, and the music is louder and played until after midnight. The dormitory I was in had no air conditioning so I needed to open the windows to ventilate the room, and the music downstairs would be extra loud, so you might want to be careful about choosing a dorm if you go to bed early. But overall the hostel is great.

This is a party hostel, not a backpacker hostel. There is a bar on the ground floor, but otherwise no social facilities. The beds all have curtains and their own power outlet and light. The only real problem I had was with the showers. You can't control the temperature and mine was way too hot so I nearly burned myself.

Objectively a great hostel in the sense it's safe, clean, well staffed and has great beds with good privacy and big rooms. Lack of kitchen and the nature of the bar makes the place not great for solo travellers, found it very difficult to meet people to hang out with here. Think of this as more of a cheap hotel than a hostel. Lots of school trips and groups.
