The People - Strasbourg

On weekends or holiday nights there are more events, and the music is louder and played until after midnight. The dormitory I was in had no air conditioning so I needed to open the windows to ventilate the room, and the music downstairs would be extra loud, so you might want to be careful about choosing a dorm if you go to bed early. But overall the hostel is great.

My bed wasn’t ready at 3pm when I had my check in time. There is no air conditioning in the dorm so it’s super warm. When I was going to the toilet in the morning, the cleaning staff said that I had to wait. The hostel is alright except from no ac but the staff is not very friendly and welcoming.

stayed for five days; the rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished, and the beds are cozy—though they do creak a bit, making it impossible to be quiet. In the 6-person mixed dorm, there were only four lockers, but luckily I had my own. The selection of savory breakfast items could be better, even if that meant a higher price for breakfast. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. I recommend it.
