Best hostel of my Costa Rica trip. I have no idea why the reviews (especially on Booking dot com) have been so poor/mixed. Maybe they don’t understand what a hostel IS. No reason to be disappointed with this place. The bed was large and clean. The room was free of pests, included screens on the windows, and had a working air conditioner. The hostel is walking distance from downtown. While some hostels in Costa Rica came with a free breakfast, I’ll take AC over that any day!
