The reservation description said 'Twin suite for 2 people' but my gf and I were given a 2 person bunkbed. The receptionist tried to argue that in Spanish Twin means bunkbed! ummm.... No it doesn't. Very rude staff to say the least. Spoke to the supervisor and he double downed. Either way, rest of the stay was fine. Clean room, co working space is spacious and good wifi. Too bad staff is not concerned with honoring reservations.

Nice place to stay, really good location. Dorm room was a bit damp and left our bags smelling a bit, but the dorm cubicles were nice and spacious. Very clean place and bathroom. No kitchen but free (and cold!) drinking water and able to arrive early and leave our bags there until check in

The staff were great, and the beds in the dorms were great. Privacy curtains are always excellent. Not much of a vibe socially, no real reason to hang out at the hostel. Hot water doesn’t work but there’s no reason for a hot shower in Cartagena I found.
