Had the best time! Pepe and Jeff (dog) gave best experience! Local food, surfing and good vibes. Living the local life and met such amazing people! Will miss the gang! Felt welcome and safe and just life home! Took me to best local foods, sunsets and sight seeing! Helped book tours too. BBQs with traditional food and listening to music. Highly recommend. Clean aswell

This is my second stay at Shaka and it’s so lovely! The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, Pipie will show you all the best spots for food, sunset and memories! The whole place is kept very clean and tidy, with a cool surf aesthetic. Would 100% recommend, especially musical/creative people!

Our stay at Shaka Garden was pleasant, the area has some great restaurants and is a close walk to the beach. I'd definitely rent a bike to explore the island as there isn't too much walking distance activities in the area. The hosts are lovely and accommodating, the hostel was quiet (only space for 6 people) which we didn't mind. I'd happily recommend!
