Gecko Guesthouse

No idea why this place doesn't have worse reviews. The dorm has no lock or key so anyone can walk in off the streets. Metal bed frames are deafening when people change sleeping position. I had the weirdest annoying people staying who kept putting the lights on at 3am. Another kept on burping and farting loudly. Apparently private rooms are awful too and have no AC. Places was dead and most people checked out after one night including myself. That being said the staff were nice enough.

Tom made the stay for me, feeding us breakfast and even dropping me to the ferry when I was in a rush. thank you tom x

liked the location, cheap places to eat , great hairdressers close by . Not far from the beach . Don’t like aircon and no aircon in my room .but had a fan , private rooms were quite reasonable price .very clean bathrooms . Only thing was no drinking hot water for tea , or cold water coming out of the cool water machine. Stopped working from time to time . It’s a nice hostel
