Very helpful staff, very clean and lovely breakfast. This hostel didn’t really have a social vibe, however was still nice. Nice showers and hairdryers too. it is around 20 minutes walk to Ipoh old town. Only thing that lets it down is that there is loads of people on drugs and homeless near here who stare. Wouldn’t say it is safe in Ipoh for female solo travellers so be careful.

Modern style hostel with charm. Very accommodating for late check in and leaving early. Amazing breakfasts included. Even packed breakfast to go on my last day! Hosts accessible by whatsapp message and very kind and friendly. Good kitchen facilities. Good community vibe with group chat for people wanting to do activities together. Highly recommend Miner's House. Felt safe as a female solo traveller to stay here.
