Boca Estrella

Our stay at the Boca Estrella was ok but we couldn't really get comfortable there. Our private room was (other than a little gap at the door) good. The showers and toilets felt a little bit gross. In the kitchen we also felt like cutlery and surfaces weren't really clean. Due to construction work around the hostel and a very loud environment during rainy periods, it was a little bit uncomfortable.

Overall, we had a good stay! The hostel is in a great location, and we really enjoyed the common areas. The kitchen was great and well equipped, the hammocks were a nice place to relax, and having bikes available to rent was super convenient. The bathrooms were also kept very clean. The staff were incredibly nice, welcoming, and accommodating, which we really appreciated. The room had a pretty strong urine smell, which was unpleasant and definitely affected the comfort.

Excellent hostel for the price. Very good hospitality and atmosphere. Location just off the strip is very convenient. Bathrooms cleaned regularly and lots of outdoor drying spots. Owner is lovely, organised onward travel for us the night before and made us feel well at home.
