Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse is a multi-award winning hostel in the centre of Hobart, in the historic village of Battery Point. Owners, Antony and Rose, live onsite with their daughter Eve, cat Mrs and Miniature Bulldogs Lily and Tuxi.
Montacute has private queen rooms, private bunkrooms, shared bunkrooms and girls-only bunkrooms. All beds have excellent quality mattresses, hotel-quality cotton sheets, woollen duvet/doonas and blankets, and a towel. Every bed also has a reading lamp and power point.
Montacute has a large kitchen, sitting room with log fire, lounge halls with sofas, dining room, BBQs, deck, balconies with mountain views, garden with picnic tables, coin-operated laundry and bicycles for hire.

Montacute has FREE PARKING and FREE WIFI.

Really comfortable beds, nice size kitchen, private parking, and a wide variety of people staying there aside from young travellers really speaks volumes about the quality of the place. Staff were really nice and everyone was super respectful in my dorm. It felt like a B&B inside an old brick house with antique furniture, except you meet more people this way. Anyway, spend your money here. Great place in a great spot of town.
