Justin was extremely welcoming and friendly. The property is huge with lovely landscaping and many hummingbirds. Access to the lake from multiple points with free kayak and SUP usage. Many places to hang out. And it is quiet. Dinner snd breakfast was always absolutely delicious!It’s not walking distance to any towns so you need to take a bus to town. The shared dorm did not have anywhere to lock valuables but I was the only one there so I had a key to the door. Water was hot!!

very beautiful place! our favorite property during our Guatemala stay, the location and set up is unbeatable with views and access directly to the clean, warm lake. we had a delicious breakfast as well with them and saw lots of hummingbirds! keep in mind its a little drive from where you re dropped in Flores, we paid 300 quezales for the taxi to get to the property but for us it was worth it. El Remate might be closer/better transfer option than Flores island actually.

Superrr nice hostel! About an hour from Flores but you can take the chicken bus for 18Q. Right on the lake with the most beautiful views. They have breakfast and dinner if you don’t feel like cooking. The owner is a really great guy and they have a cute and friendly dog.
