stayed here a week ago already, this time in a "dorm" which is a funny description because every dorm in this hostel is made for 2 persons, not more (which means bunk bed, sink, heater). the bathrooms on the floors are great; clean and hot water. if you're alone or bored, there's always someone in the lobby, great atmosphere with clean kitchen, atm, 3 tv's and internet corner including 10 computers + free wi-fi (sometimes a bit slow). GREAT LOCATION! GO THERE!

Excellent place to stay! Was more like a hotel with shared bathrooms than a hostel, doesnt have a kitchen but the decor is excellent, staff super super friendly and helpful and good access to the subway. couldnt believe it was so good when we paid so little compared to other places

Broadway Hotel n Hostel was great. The staff is really polite and helpful, from the front desk to the keepers. Wi-Fi is free and there's always people in the lounge chilling, having a beer or something. The room was always clean and everything was in order. There are delis, breakfast places and markets nearby so that helps a lot too. We`ve had some good times at this hostel.

The hostel is a great location for young people traveling on budget. Rooms have been clean and safe (they heated even heated a lot, we had less than 32° outside and ran around in T-Shirts). Staff has been friendly and helpful, even gave us advices how to get around.

The bed was really comfortable and so were the pillows. The shower head in our room (426) needs replaced and I felt like you guys kind of nickle and dimed me I was overall satisfied. Your staff was all friendly and helpful and should be commended.

Hostel was well located to the subway, central park and quick trip to the centre of tines square. The 2 bed dorms makes it easier to make the decision to stay in a dorm.

Great place. Weather outside was frightful but atmosphere inside was delightfully pleasant. Angela is the best

I thought this hostel was great! Very nice lobby and lounge. The staff was really friendly and helped my friend book a shuttle to JFK. They also helped me retrieve her phone when she lost it. I've stayed in various hostels and this one was definitely a favorite. My friend and I had our own room and a shared bathroom. The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh blankets and towels (which I loved!). Comfortable beds and our own sink and mirror in the room. Really great place.

clean, dry warm rooms, small but full individual bathrooms- 3 per hall, with somewhere to put your things while showering! friendly staff, nice lounge area/ mini kitchen. very close to local 1 train and the m60 to lga. great food all around and close to central park and riverside in a quiet, residential neighborhood. id definitely stay here again!

Lovely character downstairs, nothing like any hostel I've ever seen. The rooms are quite small and just an average hostel room. Absolutely fine for NYC. One of the guys on door duty was wonderful.

Location is excellent and a few steps to catch bus and a few walk to take metro. It's in a good neighborhood and you do not feel afraid to come back hostel in dark. Downside it is insufficient shower and toilet in each floor when I am staying in a mixed dorm room.

Great location, very pleasant staff, very courteous. Only issue is with the noise from the street below. the window let all noise in and next time I will request a room at the back of the building. Also the door from the elevator to the hallway rooms should be put on a slower close as everytime someone came through the door it slammed shut. very disruptive during the night - especially with the young folk coming in so late ie 4am.

Si lo que quieres es solo pasar la noche, darte una ducha y ahorrar dinero, entonces este es tu lugar. La atención de la gente es muy buena y amigable, que para NY es mucho que decir.

This hostel was reasonable for a few nights' stay, but wouldn't recommend it for any longer than that. Pros: The staff were excellent; so friendly and helpful. The decor was nice in the common room - plenty of couches and tables. Cons: The facilities were clean but extremely basic - i.e no hand soap for the bathroom or floor mat for the shower. Security was very basic - no in-room lockers, just a service to leave valuables at the front desk. No wifi in rooms, only in C.R. OK, not great.
