Not as bad as some had said. The bathrooms are new, beds squeaky/noisy but clean. Movies are played every night downstairs. Takes about 45 minutes to walk to times square. pretty far from Downtown Manhattan but close to Central Park and Harlem. They don't offer a breakfast but there are lots of cafes and shops around. The dorms are extremely small and the beds pretty unconvenient but it's very clean with fresh towels and sheets every day. Excellent Manhattan location on Broadway near central Park. Nicely designed, cosy common room with fire place and big screen TV. Dorms are very small, 4 bunks allow little space for luggage. No lockers. (Reception charges $4 to keep laptops) Very clean, modern bathrooms up the the 4th floor. No breakfast. Free Wifi Remember to budget around extra $4 on top for Taxes on dorm beds! el encargado de incendios trata de mala manera a todos los huespedes. pertenecemos a un grupo de estudiantes de 250 personas que va a Nueva York todos los años. Gracias a la mala forma de tratar de este señor, nunca mas irá ninguno de nuestro grupo a hospedarse allí. es una pena porque el hostel podria estar muy bueno si no fuera por esos incidentes que transforman una estadia que deberia ser agradable, en un sitio al cual no queres volver cuando se hace la noche. saludosel encargado de incendios trata de mala manera a todos los huespedes. pertenecemos a un grupo de estudiantes de 250 personas que va a Nueva York todos los años. Serviceable. Good location, moderate price for NYC I guess - though they really should advertise the prices including tax, which for me added about $4 a night in a dorm. Banging doors making it not ideal for sleeping after about 7 or 8am, and not enough showers. I don't know, but I suspect there's better available in the city.Serviceable. Very pleasant stay (a week). The hostel is close to the subway, Central Park and I liked the area a lot (many shops). The staff is cool, the rooms are cleaned every day and in the common room you can watch films, cook a little, surf on internet or stay in the couches...
