Summary of traveller reviews

The Nolita Express Hostel in New York offers a fantastic location, putting you close to popular areas like Little Italy and SoHo. Guests appreciate the value for money, making it a good choice for budget travellers. However, be aware that the rooms are quite small and noise can be an issue due to the open-ceiling design, so earplugs are recommended.

Very bad experience! Stayed in many hostels before but this is really the worse ever. Anyone can walk in. There are walls and doors but no ceilings per cabin. The bed is too short. I could hear my neighbours having s*x, others smoking cigarettes and weed. Had to leave early and didn’t get a refund! I had the impression it’s used by ladies of the night and their clients. Avoid at all cost!

Pretty good place, tiny rooms but it’s literally the cheapest hostel in New York so what do you expect. Stayed for 6 nights, bed was comfy but small. Location was great, just outside of little Italy and soho so plenty of fun things to do I’ve seen lots of negative reviews but the hostel was actually fine, people are mostly respectful of the noise issues and the desk offers free ear plugs anyway. I’d recommend if you’re poor like me!

this hostel has a prime location and if you can compromise on privacy its worth it. this is my 4th hostel experience and it was the most bare bones. but the money I saved allowed me flexibility to enjoy NYC. meeting a mouse in the 2nd floor kitchen night 1 was a challenge. being walking distance from soho attractions was a huge plus.
