One night I stayed in a dorm with bunk beds and two nights I stayed with a friend in a private room. The private room was definitely better being a little bigger with two twins and a TV. Wifi is only located in the communal areas. Showers have plenty of hot water. There is no food or tea or coffee only packaged food that you can buy that the hostel provided for purchase. The hostel was located on Broadway right next to the subway, grocers, convenience store, central park, bars etc.

I was not given a room as hostel world advertised as vacant and I booked it however on arrival at the premises I discovered the room was not available and the hostel was fully booked. Pls refund my deposit. Thanks

Great bathrooms, sheets could be a bit hairy at times. Good location near central park. Reception Staff bit hit and miss as to whether they could be bothered or just chatting to their pals.

The hotel didn't look like on the pictures at all. As I entered my room I couldn't get rid of the feeling that I'm in a prison cell. The hotel staff spreaded also a feeling, that You're not really welcome in this place.

The place is very close to subway stops 103rd and 96th. My two-people dorm was about 12 squaremeters so it was only for sleeping and not for 'hanging out', but the lobby/common room can be used for that. The room was very clean. The bathroom (shower toilet together) was okay clean. I felt safe in the neighborhood. In the room there's a locker but you need to bring your own lock. I would definitely stay at this place again, the approximity to all things 'Manhattan' is awesome!

Had a private double room with shared bathroom. Nice large room (was just one person though), comfy bed, tv and a sink in the room which was a great bonus. Only thing would be nice to add wi fi throughout building instead of just in the lounge. Lovely staff and great atmosphere to the whole place. Is only 2 blocks from subway station and felt very safe coming back from the city late at night. Very nice area.

Shower water cold at times. Drain does not work properly. Bedroom ventilation poor. Old elevator. Very dark common room.

Basic clean and good hostel. The location is perfect and in a safe area, near metro stops and central park. We stayed in a private room but the last day of our stay the private room was not available so we booked a dorm. When we needed to switch roomes they upgraded us to a private room, really nice. The comment area is nice and has fast WIFI connexcion. The only thing we liked less is that there is no WIFI in the rooms. But overall we would defenitly recommend this hostel and come back again

Its not really a hostel to have fun and meet people, but its nice. Some of the instalations were a little bit old. It has a nice common area, and its in a good location in manhattan.

Overall the hostel was nice and clean, but I was slightly disappointed to the size of the room. I stayed in a 2 person female dorm, and two of my friends stayed at a 2 person female dorm too that was exactly the same price. However, my room was half the size of their room, so I was just wondering why this is.

It's Ok. If you are looking for a fun hostel, this is not. If you are looking for a confortable hostel just to sleep in a safe area this is the one.

Nice hostel with great lounge area. My shared room was awfully small with linen that smelt of bleech. Bathrooms were never clean first thing of a morning
