Was really happy with location and our stay. It was the cheapest i could find in new york. Very clean and comfy. Would reccommend to friends and family.

Everything was really nice. Rooms were basic, which is what we paid for. The shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained; just felt liked taking a shower at a friend's home. Staff was lovely; desk personnel, cleaning and security staff were all super accommodating. On the day of checkout we kept our bags in the luggage room which cost 2 dollars a piece. Given the low prices and good services of this nice hostel I will say that a all in all this was a huge bargain!

Good hostel that is really more like hotel: don't expect parties or socializing - expect clean sheets and good location.

We stayed in one of the hostel's private suites for 7 nights in March 2013. The price was reasonable and the location near the W.103 St. or W. 96th St. subway made travel to anywhere in the city extremely easy. The room was cleaned and beds were made daily. New towels and soap/shampoo were also brought when needed. A blow-dryer was available too, which made it more simple to pack light. One of the only negatives about the stay was the paper-thin walls, which made for restless sleeping.

Great place! Clean, nice staff, cool lobby and lounge area. Only a block away from the train. I'd definitely stay there again

The place is not bad, but neither is what they offer on description. It is not as close to central Manhattan and at nights theneighborhood is kind of creepy. People arguing on streets, noisy and littering all around. The facilities are not in a verygood condition, theay are rather old and not neat. For the fee they purchase they must offer something better. It is way too expensive to be a hostel and personally I think its not worth its value.

This is my second time staying here. Clean rooms, nice staff and easy access to Time Sq I feel like the price went up at 45.00 for a two person room it's a little much for what you get, but that's NYC (if your room is near the staircase door it slams every time someone goes thru!!!)

Good location and great staff. The accommodations are average but i guess its alright if you are not planning to spend the day at the Hotel. Big open lobby where a people are hanging out al the time. Totally student oriented with a good atmosphere.

The light of the room that i stay is not working for 3 days and i have had made about 2 to 3 complains to the staff in the front desk they said they will check for it me but i never hear any respond from them..oh, and the internet services they provide are not that good, because we can only access to wifi at the lobby only. All rooms do not have internet services.

This is a good-value hostel in a convenient location. The dorms are small (I was in a 2-bed one), which adds a certain level of privacy. The showers were okay. There was a lounge downstairs with a good wifi connection. I didn't do any activities or socializing in the hostel, but the hostel seems fine for that as well.

This was my first stay in a NY hostel and I certainly picked the right one. Everything about the place was wonderful...location, price, staff...everything. From movies played in the two comfy lounges to staff who were able to direct me to a good nail shop, I loved Broadway. The kitchen had all the comforts of home and the rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. The computers in the computer room weren't working but it didn't matter because I brought my laptop and they have wi-fi!

Everything good value for money. Staff were helpfull. Cleanliness wasnt perfect in rooms or bathroom but not bad. Lobby/downstairs was nice design only thing I would say if your more than one person its a great hostel in terms of atmosphere but on your own because there's movies on all the time its hard to meet people and nothing to encourage meeting people.

Nice place. Close to metro. Had a very nice room. With tv and the wifi worked in the room as we were on the first floor The showers were not the best, they had nozzles on the roof which was annoying. Also the radiator in the room was real noisy and so had to turn off at night which meant it was cold. But over all nice place and would stay again. Nice Diners nearby.
