Internet is a bit shaky and our neighbour was cooking something that didn't smell very well, but overall we had a good stay and the staff was very helpfull.

We only stayed in the broadway-hostel for one night, so we didn't spend that much time there. All in all, our stay was fine, but there were a lot of annoying noises at night, both from the traffic outside and the heater! The hostel is pretty close to the subway and to Central Park, which is awesome!

Website pictures are a lie. The room was of a ridiculously small size compared to what shown on the site. The hostel has no useful kitchen facilities and bathrooms are minimal.

Not a hostel in the full meaning of the word. Kitchen facilities very poor (although v. elegant and posh). Very clean. Small comfortable rooms, quiet. Staff (especially one girl) behaved as if they were slaves and not workers who are paid for that.

I've had a terrible experience with this hostel. First, as I arrived, they told me that I would have to go to another hostel of the group, located 4 blocks away. The place was bad looking and had the worst WiFi I have seen. Later, I had problems with a really unhelpful attendant that could not(or didn't want to) find a package that I was supposed to receive(fortunately another staff member was able to find it). Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A very nice Hostel in NYC. It's very close to the subway and you need just a few minutes to be in the heart of the city. People were friendly, I wish there were more chance to come in contact with other travelers. The romms are very clean and there's a room service every day. If you come to NYC stay there!

I just wish that fresh towel is available at the bathroom. There is no rug to dry my feet so a fresh towel for that purpose could be helpful. Also, I wish there is table and chair available to the room just when you need that quiet moment to plan for your itinerary without going to the common hall. But for value I paid my request are too small to make my ratings go down.

The bad points are: the only cooking facility is a microwave, the wifi was inconsistent, our heater made wired noises and we couldn't regulate the temperature on your own and our 2 bed private room had no furniture except from the bed, a chair and lockers. The good points are: the common room was pretty nice and had computer you can use in case you don't have your own device (but you have to pay for using them), there was a security guard all day long and the stuff was really polite.

This was the first ever hostel I've stayed at, and it couldn't have been better. Every floor had at least 3 bathrooms, which were kept very clean, and the linen/towels were changed daily. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge area always had a good vibe to it, playing films throughout the day. It's a bit of a distance away from Times Square, Empire State Building, etc, but, they're a short cab ride/subway stop/30-min walk away.

Good hostel, a little out of the way but its not far from the 1 train subway stop. Decently clean, and we felt safe staying there. Only complaint was an annoying radiator in our room that kept us up all night. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine. =)

This was my second time staying and I enjoyed it very much. Our room and the bathrooms were very clean. Very convenient to the subway and great markets and bars in the area. Our room had a t.v. and wifi was available in the lobby. Too bad it wasn't in our room though.

Nice hostel easily accessible to downtown Manhattan. Affordable and comfortable. Wi-fi doesn't work anywhere but the first floor however there is plenty of room to sit down there and make friends.
