Very friendly staff. After a mixup in room types they upgraded us to a larger room. Facilities good and clean. 10 min walk to centre of old town. Probably not best location in town but close enough. A little bit pricier than most hostelworld hotels but worth the extra few dollars. No hesitation in recommending or getting value for money.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great location, very nice rooms, inexpensive motorbikes and bicycles for rent, and a delicious restaurant with free breakfast in the mornings. Only ten minutes' walk to the Old Town and a short bike ride to An Bang or Cua Dai Beach. The staff made this place extra special. Would recommend staying here to anyone!

We got a fruitplate when we arrived. Room was big and very nice decorated (rose petals, towels were folded as a swan). Computer in room was nice, the internet sometimes slowely. Breakfast buffet was delicieus. Fruits were covered with plastic for protection from insects. 5 min walk to the oldtown. Staff friendly, they helped us to carry our lugagge.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were picked up for free from the bus station at 6 am and then given breakfast once we were at the hotel. Our room was ready for us immediately with beautiful rose petals on the bed and "welcome fruit" in the fridge! The breakfast buffet had great variety and the staff were incredibly attentive and affable. They had cheap bikes for rent and awesome laundry services. The swimming pool was an extra bonus, too. Very highly recommended!

This place was a little bit pricier than we paid for most other places in south East Asia, but I think it was completely worth it. It was something like 15 usd each per night and you get pretty much 5 star treatment. Rooms are big and safe, staff were absolutely fantastic and incredibly helpful, they really couldn't have done more for us. We also used their recommendations for shops/restaurants/tours and they never led us wrong. Location is also great. Very impressed

The hotel is incredible, it is a short walk to the center of downtown. The staff keeps the rooms in immaculate shape, extremely clean. A/C works like a champ and having a computer in the room as well as wifi is nice. We had a good view from our room and a balcony to sit on. If you plan on getting your laundry done go outside the hotel to Mrs. Minh. Her house is right behind the hotel. They will come back clean and they will smell nice for days. The only downfall you have to pay in cash.

You will probably find something more in the centre/at the beach, but then you will miss cheap bike hires with pretty decent bikes, an awesome breakfast buffet and the possibilty to ccol off in a pool after a hot day out! We absolutely recommend Hai Au hotel!

The staff are excellent, taking time to learn name and make sure everything is ok. Room good with good size and all facilities you want. Had mosquito nets which is the first time I see in SE Asia! Breakfast was the best included one we have had here too, lots of options. Location was excellent, 5 mins to old town walking. I really couldn't fault the hotel it'self at all! Bus we used with them to Hue was a sleeper which we did not know and did not need for a 150km journey! Bikes are in bad shape.

Nice swimming pool area. Breakfast is really good and there were variety of choices. 10 min by walk to the old town. If you are traveling further by open bus, I don't recommend to buy tickets from hotel. Company they are using isn't that good(the Sinh cafe opentour) and prices were also quite high.
