This place was a little bit pricier than we paid for most other places in south East Asia, but I think it was completely worth it. It was something like 15 usd each per night and you get pretty much 5 star treatment. Rooms are big and safe, staff were absolutely fantastic and incredibly helpful, they really couldn't have done more for us. We also used their recommendations for shops/restaurants/tours and they never led us wrong. Location is also great. Very impressed
The hotel is incredible, it is a short walk to the center of downtown. The staff keeps the rooms in immaculate shape, extremely clean. A/C works like a champ and having a computer in the room as well as wifi is nice. We had a good view from our room and a balcony to sit on. If you plan on getting your laundry done go outside the hotel to Mrs. Minh. Her house is right behind the hotel. They will come back clean and they will smell nice for days. The only downfall you have to pay in cash.
You will probably find something more in the centre/at the beach, but then you will miss cheap bike hires with pretty decent bikes, an awesome breakfast buffet and the possibilty to ccol off in a pool after a hot day out! We absolutely recommend Hai Au hotel!
The staff are excellent, taking time to learn name and make sure everything is ok. Room good with good size and all facilities you want. Had mosquito nets which is the first time I see in SE Asia! Breakfast was the best included one we have had here too, lots of options. Location was excellent, 5 mins to old town walking. I really couldn't fault the hotel it'self at all! Bus we used with them to Hue was a sleeper which we did not know and did not need for a 150km journey! Bikes are in bad shape.
Nice swimming pool area. Breakfast is really good and there were variety of choices. 10 min by walk to the old town. If you are traveling further by open bus, I don't recommend to buy tickets from hotel. Company they are using isn't that good(the Sinh cafe opentour) and prices were also quite high.
We stayed three nights, very nice staff always helpful and more like a family then hotel - by the way the best tailor of the town is just in front and we bought any suits and dresses there :) We are from Cologne/Germany
Great place. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The staff refer to each guest by name and offer reasonably priced and comfortable accommodations! Definitely recommend you stay here if you are ever in Hoi An. It's a little bit of a walk for the main attractions, but not prohibitively so.

The staff here are amazing so friendly and willing to help with your travel plans. Room was clean and bathroom nice. Located close to everything. The free breakfast was the best we have had in all of Vietnam. No issues with our stay. Would stay here again.
Amazing, super-helpful and friendly staff.

The reception staff make a big effort to remember your name, even if they weren't the one checking you in, they still know your name. They are very helpful with booking bus tickets and tours, but can be a bit pushy to use their affiliated tailor across the road (much more expensive than the ones in town). Remember to eat in town since there aren't many options near the hotel.
Reception Staff very welcoming, friendly and always remembered our name- nice touch. The Hotel is a five minute walk to the old quarter and a 15 minute bike ride to the beach, bike hir is about 60p a day & motorbike hire is only £3-5 per day More info on local shops and beach options would be a great help
