Guesthouse is nice, in excellent location, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Recommended for everyone .

I asked the staff for a locker but he was unable to help me for some reason. The bread that was offered was not vegan so we were unable to eat it.

Hostel was in a decent location, right out of exit 3 of Hongik Univ. station and a 3-4 min walk. There's a security keypad door entrance and beds were comfortable. I was concerned about being placed in some kind of back annex room, but it turned out to be nice and comfortable. My friends stayed in the room upstairs (door to the left at the top of the stairs) and they told me they were all freezing at night. Request to be downstairs. Overall, pretty good for 15,000 pn.

Nice enough place if a little pricey for what you get, ten minute walk from hongik uni which is a great area. The private room was big and clean if a little plain. The door had a wide gap down the side and it was made of very thin wood meaning we could hear conversations from both outside the room and downstairs until very late, there were signs asking for quiet but nothing to enforce them. Showers had low pressure, semi-hot water and the toilet door had a broken handle. Not awful, not great.

Very friendly environment, very inexpensive and good location to getting to famous places in Seoul such as Myeong Dong and Gangnam.

This was an awesome hostel. The staff were very friendly And on many occasions they held gatherings/get togethers In the basement. The location is extremely convenient, probably 5 mins from Hongdae station and about 10 mins from all the clubs And shopping in Hongdae, which is great. The one complaint is That there wasn't much privacy when it came to showers, Which wasn't really an issue for me but sometimes it was Cumbersome.

Overall had an amazing stay at the hostel. The workers there were hilarious and even hung out with us a few times. Truly enjoyed my stay here and I were to come to back to Korea I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed there for 10 days (alone) and it was wonderful. Nice staff and very familiar. Like a second home.

just one night we stay at there, and less than 3 hours in the guesthouse I guess, haha, but thanks for the xmas party invite and strawberry choco ya. nice boss

I'm not sure if Hongdae Guesthouse 2.0 and Hongdae Guesthouse 3.0 are one and the same; in fact, the multiple names had me confused for a bit. But there is nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the facilities, staff, and stay itself.
