The heat was very high and sometimes even cracking the window was not enough to make the room comfortable. I understand that it is better to be warm than cold, but maybe you could dial back a little. Sometimes the towels were changed but no face cloth was offered.

This is NOT a hostel. This is a hotel. If you are traveling with only 2 people, that's fine, but the biggest room they have only has 2 beds in it. If you are travelling with 3+ people that are not related...find another hostel. The other thing that was not mentioned on their website is that there is NO ELEVATOR! The lobby is up flights of stairs & then the rooms are also up more flights of stairs. It wouldn't normally be a problem, but we had two people in our party with foot and knee problems!

Noisy room (squealing pipes). Otherwise good place to stay to see the sites, decent wifi and near subway, friendly staff and cheap for New York.

The best place for lodging in all of the city! Hands down, no exceptions. The staff, the atmosphere, the location (subway and bus to airport are right out the front door), convenience to nearby shops/grocery/liquor/restaurants, and the overall vibe is awesome. I wish I could name everyone by memory, but Charisma, Julianne, Max and Mike D were awesome. I will definitely return the next time I visit the city!

The only problem we faced was due the hotel doesn't have elevator and we were in the 5th floor. Thus, it was very hard to carry all luggage of my family upstairs.

The location is perfect for the guests to get around the city. The staff is very attentive.

The Marrakech hotel was exactly what we were looking for when heading to NYC. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, and the bar in the lobby was a great extra thing to have (especially during happy hour). The rooms were simple, comfortable, and exactly as expected, with no frills. Not really necessary when you should be outside exploring. Also, being in such close proximity to the 1 train was GREAT. Short walk to good shopping and Central Park. Will definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff. Room has no view, but is clean and nice. Excelente bathroom. Regular TV set. Clean. No breakfast. VERY close to the subway on the 103th street, so you can go anywhere (even JFK) by subway. Good neighborhood. Excelent for the price. Will stay there again next time.
