Excellent welcoming staff. Superb location. Price above hostels but below regular hotels still and A+ for this place. Room was very comfortable. I will probably stay there again.

Friendly staff. Room has no view, but is clean and nice. Excelente bathroom. Regular TV set. Clean. No breakfast. VERY close to the subway on the 103th street, so you can go anywhere (even JFK) by subway. Good neighborhood. Excelent for the price. Will stay there again next time.

This is more a hotel than hostel. Very nice!! Beautiful inside. The room was small but that didn't matter, it was clean, nice bed & bathroom. The location seems a bit far, but it's very easy to take the subway on the corner and on the way you can grap something from Starbucks (nextdoor). My only advice would be to take care of 24h working wifi, have staff with a little bit more knowledge about bars/places for breakfast/lunch in the surrounding and not charging money for storing luggage.

A nice clean place to stay in the Upper West Side. Location was really nice, close walk to Central Park and subway right at your doorstep. Not hard to find food around, starbucks next door and the Seinfeld restaurant just a few minutes walk up the street. Staff were nice and friendly and even though they did not have an elevator, the guys were nice enough to carry our heavy bags up four flights of stairs. Rooms were clean and air conditioning worked well in the summer. Would stay again.

This was a great stay, friendly, very helpful staff, nice rooms, very clean, and good location, right near central park and easy to get to on the 1 train right across the street. I loved the Moroccan decor and the staff were so helpful. The rooms very a good size for New York standards, with free good wifi in them. The hotel is a little old, but immaculately clean, and New York is an old town, lots of buildings are like this, but it is very well taken care of and comfy beds!

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were well kept and very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. I also enjoy the location as there is a Starbucks right next door, access to the subway station is directly across the street and there are several restaurants nearby to grab a quick bite. This place is well worth the price, and I will definitely come here again the next time I'm in NYC.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised, the decor was fun, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, since the #1 subway just outside gets you to most of the touristy spots, and of course connects you to other subway lines. The room was quite small, but that was what I expected, and all we needed. The lack of elevator could have been a problem if we were on one of the top floors, but the staff did carry our luggage up and down for us.
