We were excited to be staying in a room that was Moroccan themed like the rooms are in the pictures, however it is only the lobby that's themed and the rooms are very plain and small. However the rooms where clean and cheap which is what we were looking for and it was in a good location near central park and the subway.

Nice, clean and very well located hotel. One thing to improve is to make clear tax charges from the beginning since they did not apear in the original hotel price.

2nd time there, very close to the subway. Convenient to go downtown.

Perfectly good for a weekend trip to the city! Very friendly staff, subway station right in front of the building, some fun bars and restaurants a 20 minute walking distance away. IMPORTANT: your total cost will be more than hostel world tells you by quite a bit as they do not calculate tax. I was told I owed $240 at the front desk but ended up having to pay $280; this has nothing to do with the hotel but rather with this website.

Very good value for money, my room was above my expectations: nice size, very clean and good bed. Every problem with my room was solved right away. Also, they have a very honest staff, my friend had lost her wallet in the lobby, the staff found it and returned it untouched.

Great place, great location and awesome price. My girlfriend and I live each about an hour outside the city and this is the perfect place for a weekend trip. Although we didn't mind, it can be a bit noisy at times as the walls are thin. I would recommend this place for couples more so than single or group travelers.

This hotel was very good. It was very good located, in the Upper West Side, so almost in the center of Manhattan. The underground is just in front of the hotel's door. The rooms are perfectly clean and the cleaners change the laundries everyday. It's very quiet at night and our bed was extremely comfortable, even if the room is a bit tiny. A little bemol tho, we had a very bad view by the window, it was a wall. But very good hotel for the price of it. We recommend it.

The Hotel was comfortable. Just one step to the subway. The prices should be included taxes because I had to pay more than 40 usd for only taxes and the booking page didn´t say anithing about it . Good place to stay and have a rest.

They say it's 80 a night for a two person room. It's actually 100 plus taxes. Not happy with that. Otherwise it's clean. Rooms are a bit noisy. Location a bit far from downtown though a subway is right outside the door.

I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend. The room was clean and tidy and serviced daily. The subway was close and easy for commuting. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It's was really a great experience to stay here. The value for money that you receive is really good. It was a really cheap, nice, warm and comfortable hotel. My family and I spent five wonderful days in NYC, and this hotel was a highlight of the trip.

Good points: the location is the best, next to the metro, starbucks and supermarket. Plus the neighborhood is really great, nice restaurants, bars, supermarkets (go to the Westside Market!). The stairs are no problem, someone will help you right away. The rooms are not very big, but not too small and always clean. So overall our impression was very good, the only thing we did not like were the girls behind the desk, many of them were not helpfull or even rude.
