Hoi An doesn't do hostels..at least I didn't find any..so going solo and paying double occupancy prices..really is unavoidable. All told...it was a nice room...great staff (they even got my room ready before check in time)..breakfast was terrific...booking tours and buses was super easy. They don't take credit card unfortunately...but I will recommend to my friends regardless.

Nice hotel close to everything you need. Rooms are clean but small. Breakfast is nice. Staff let the place down, won't give you real advice, only interested in selling you the tailor / Restaurant / bus company that they get the most commission from and are really rude when you don't use them. There are much better & cheaper tailors/restaurants/ bus companies if you do your own research!

The manager was a bit strange- we arrived around 10pm and he told us to stay at the hotel and not to go out- even to eatd dinner. Otherwise the place isn't really worth the money you pay- our bathroom lock didn't work and one of us got locked inside. Some of the cupboards are pretty much falling apart and getting the key card to activate the power supply in the room is a bit of a struggle. Also they dont accept card so make sure you have a bunch of cash to pay for checkout.

Not very social, but a clean, nice, quiet boutique guest house just a 3 minute walk from center of Hoi An.

Hoi An is full of good value places to stay - with that in mind I'd stay somewhere else next time. Breakfast was poor - only western choices and everything cooked in a microwave.

Helpful, friendly staff, fantastic rooms with the best bathroom I saw in Vietnam. Breakfast was also fantastic. Would definitely stay again! You pay slightly more than some other places but the difference is obvious.
