The owner Oazzang is super friendly and we felt very much at home. There was access to a full kitchen, hot and cold drinking water, towels, blankets and comfy couches in the living room. There's one bathroom shared among those staying there and the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom (so it does get wet!), but there's decent drainage and the shower is very warm and the water pressure is good. The guest house is located close to the best part of town, so it was perfect.
Oazzang and the hostel location are fantastic!! Facilities and cleanliness aren't that of a nice hotel but it's a hostel so I forgive it.. though I've def stayed at more comfortable hostels! It's alright though- the entire upstairs with private rooms is new so we had the floor to ourselves so that was nice!
Very comfortable hostel with great amenities at a very affordable price. Felt like I was staying in a relative's place in Korea, very homely feel. In a very busy area filled with pubs and action yet still was peaceful at night. May not be suited to someone who wants to party like crazy all the time as this is a more relaxed place.
