It's a very big hostel, with the goods and the bads of being it. Furthermore, it's not really well mantained, as you can find several broken devices in your room (such as not working light bulb on your bed and so on). In the end it leaves you the sensation of a quite average old hostel. it's not definitely bad, anyway, as it's really clean and sufficiently near to the city centre and offers quite a good range of services. The lack of smaller meeting rooms and a kitchen that's free to use by all guests makes it very hard to meet up with other travellers in this hostel. This seriously reduces both the fun and character factor of the hostel. The guest bar is a very poor, and overly commercial-minded alternative. The lack of smaller meeting rooms and a kitchen that's free to use by all guests makes it very hard to meet up with other travellers in this hostel. The hostel was great for almost anyone. Traveling alone, it wasn't the best place for me. It was difficult to meet other travelers, and the restaurant was closed for a private party one night. Good for groups or even a couple. 20 mins away from city center by tram. Clean rooms and good staff though. The hostel was great for almost anyone. Traveling alone, it wasn't the best place for me. The people who work on the bar are really nice. Also, the bar is cool and has several different beers to try. Nice place to stay, quiet, clean, far from the noisy centre, but good to rest. The only problem in my view is the lack of a common kitchen as in many others hostels around the world. The people who work on the bar are really nice. Good:It's industrial. Nice staff, clean spaces. Big rooms, big breakfast room too.
Bad: dont have lockers on the rooms (?), valuble things must be locked on a room near the reception (plus 2 euro/day)
Worst: Location. It's not as easy as it seems to be. 15 minutes by bicke from city center - forget that! Direct tram transportation from center - one nš 14, to central station, you'll have to take 2 trams. The nearest train station is, if you walk fast, at least 15 m from hostal.Good:It's industrial. This was a pretty nice hostel for a first hostel experience. The staff was pretty nice, but a little abrupt at check-in...probably because we were first timers and had no idea what we were doing. The hostel was clean, and included breakfast was nice. It's a little out of the way and took us a while to get to, but it seems like a nice neighborhood with a nice courtyard. I would recommend it to anyone. This was a pretty nice hostel for a first hostel experience.
