Great hostel! I'd booked a privet room for 2 but somehow we end up in a room for 7, but just for ourselves. It was really good, really good bedroom, the bar is amazing and the bikes we rented were great. The breakfast was really complete, totally worth it! Not so close to the center but Amsterdam is a small town so you can walk a little or take the bus easily. My advice: rent a bike! It makes the trip so fun!! It could have a guest kitchen but it is a REALLY GOOD hostel and really cheap!

This is a great hostel for groups, the rooms are comfortable. However if you're the backpacking type who enjoys the feel of a hostel and is looking for character, this isn't the place for you. It was anti social, and really just felt like a hotel more than anything. It is a very nice place, I want emphasize that! But if you're looking for a fun hostel, this isn't the place for you.

I enjoyed my stay at StayOkay Zeeburg. The facilities are clean and my room seemed very secure. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast is amazing. The hostel is located a little far away from the city center, but is conveniently located close to a tram stop, which is a 10- or 15-minute ride to the center. Also, I found the wifi maddeningly slow, and towels and hand soap are only available for purchase.

For a hostel there was nothing to complain about, only the distance from city center is about 30 min by foot, or 10 min by tram. The breakfasts were great and free WiFi as well.

Looks like a hotel when you look the infrastructure, but it has the mood of a hostel. Very nice breakfast. It's not very close to the center of the city, but it has a tram stop super close. We took one day to go there walking and it was nice and didn't take too much time. The only complain is that the shower didn't have curtain and then the floor of the bathroom got really wet.

Bathrooms weren't cleaned properly, shower is button activated and automatically turns off every 15 seconds, so every 15 seconds you have to press it, light in the shower is also motion activated but also turns off as you are in the shower so you're pressing the button and waving your hands around in the air more than showering. Wifi is terrible, there are several connections but all very, very slow. Breakfast was good, but no bacon, rooms were warm and comfortable, although beds were noisy.

My stay at Stayokay was a truly fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is planning on visiting Amsterdam. It was really cool because it was much bigger than any other hostel I had stayed at before, and had a nice, student friendly dorm feeling.. made me feel like I was back in first year again! The place was also extremely clean and the staff were more than welcoming and helpful.
