Such a good hostel!! Definetly i will recommend to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Amsterdam.

Pretty much the most average hostel you could ever imagine. Decently clean, beds were alright, bathroom was kind of gross but not terrible, not great vibes, staff was pretty helpful. A good place to stay if the only thing you're looking for is a place to sleep at night, not a good place of you're looking for a fun hostel to meet people.

Nice and comfortable place to stay. My 4 bed dorm was just a bit too small, but it really meant no problem. I'd stay there again without any doubt.

Full of school kids, not the best atmosphere. Nice beds, rooms, staff and breakfast. Decent hostel if you dont mind cycling, public transport, or making your own fun.

The no-outside food in the hostel clause was a bummer

This hostel was very disappointing. It is a big city hostel which also hosts school and conference groups. This makes for an average atmosphere. There were a number of school groups there during my stay, which meant annoying teenagers and waiting in line for 20 minutes to get breakfast! The absence of a kitchen is annoying, and the "no outside food" rule is a joke. Redeeming features are the breakfast, and it is clean and comfortable. The location is also inconvenient.

“The place is in a very average location. With no security in the rooms. There's one old women in reception, who is extremely arrogant and disrespectful if they gave her the flick the place would have a much nicer feel. ”

Lovely location, nice views (I stayed 2x). Doors were noisy--slamming, thumping. Ah well, good solid doors are better than cheap flimsy ones. Only noticeable late at night as people come in from nightlife while some of us are trying to sleep. C'est la vie. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Loved this place.......little bit out the way but tram stop right outside and cheap to get a taxi back at night. Very clean and very nice, has it's own bar, facilities are spot on, wouldn't bother looking for somewhere else next time, would just stay here. Brilliant time, highly recommend! Lee O'Neill

Having one shower and one toilet for 6 people in one room is not a good idea. Also having an 'energy efficient' shower where you have to push for water ever 5 seconds is not enjoyable. Communal bathrooms would be more convenient.

Very good, sure I come back there...

It is hard to sit on the toilet, close to where 3 other people sleeps. Would prefer toilet and bath outside the room.

push button showers and big city hostel atmosphere... otherwise fine and probably better than allot of other places in amsterdam

Its quite far away from everything, and its massive, so it cam

Solid stay for a weekend trip in Amsterdam. 15 minute tram from the heart of the city.

Very quiet hostel. Bar was dead and the bartenders were often not there. One bartender Rochelle was nice and and chatted to us about things to do. A 10 minute tram out of town.

no kitchen

Friends and I stayed in a all female dorm style room for two nights. They had bathroom and showers within the rooms and clean sheets. They had a great atmosphere and the staff was really helpful. The only diadvantage is the location. It was outside the city center where most of the attractions are. However, it was just a short tram ride about 5-10 minutes to the city center and the tram picks up is about 2 min walk from the hostel. Hint: Buy the 24 hour tram pass because you will need it.
