The room wasn't very clean, with walls and pillows dirty.

pros: despite the cons as follows, it really worths the price. swimming pool and breakfast buffet could beat any other hostel at the same price. The staff was horrible, when I was leaving ang they were returning my passport. They just couldn't find it!! It took almost half an hour that they finally got mine. They just don't change the sheet: when I called back to ask for my several clothes left there, they said they didn't clean, so they just don't know and later they said found nothing.

Please take care your hostel well .Please also protect your guest. Staffs Very noisy at night even midnight, party non stop.I couldn't believe that the staffs in hotel just leave it and don't care the noisy crazy environment not even stop those drunk guest. Very very very very bad.The staffs there didn't do cleaning and bed making after guest check out.The bed was smelly.

We loved our stay here! Very spacious rooms with good AC, great buffet breakfast included, beautiful swimming pool and friendly staff. We got a really bad impression at arrival because reception staff had the typical "I'm sick of tourists" attitude and they hold our passports, first saying they would have them for just a moment and then saying they wouldnt give them back until check out. That would be our only complaint but we did enjoy our stay there. Great value for money.

The Sunflower hotel has been a nice hostel to stay in, the rooms are clean with comfy beds, their is a free buffet breakfast and friendly staff, also a nice pool. Staff booked my bus for me quickly, had bikes to rent outside and told us of good tailors in town. Room Tip: Dorm rooms were nice, thats where i stayed.

For the large size of this hostel, the wide open architecture and outdoor areas, not to mention pool, it was always relatively chill and super fun. I loved that it was equidistant from the beach and the center of town. On a bicycle, the center is 1 I'm and takes no more than 5-10 minutes to get anywhere. Rent a scooter for $5, enjoy all that Hoi An has to offer, and the pool!

The place is awesome for young people! The breakfast is really good and the owner is walking around being attentive. A bit far from town but we hired bikes no problem and it was a 10 min ride. Close to beach. Recommend for backpackers

Great place to stay for young backpackers - good drink deals, the pool was great but could have done with more sunloungers as there were never enough. A bit far out from the old town but negated by the fact that they put on a free shuttle and it was nearer the beautiful beach! Room was great, massive, with a fridge and good air con

Perfect for bacpacker. Good rooms (Stayed in a dorm room which was really good value). Great breakfast with more choice than you can want, nice swimming pool and a bar area that everyone goes and has a drink. Is a great place to meet people, location is good as well. The staff are very friendly and help you book any buses etc.

I would definitely stay here again. Athough it is a little outside of the old town you can walk it in 15 mins or get the free shuttle. You can rent bikes for 20vdn from right outside and cycle to the beach in 15 mins which is well worth doing. The dorms are fine though not cleaned very often. The main draw here is the pool which is much needed in this heat. The hostel is full of backpackers and a good place to meet people. The free breakfast is a plus if you get up in time. Recommended.

great great hostel! we signed up for a mixed dorm and met a great group of friends right away. its a beautiful hostel, centrally located, and the breakfast buffet is great. the pool is a great place to lay around and meet people. I had a great time here, everyone goes out at night and the nightlife in hoi an is pretty good. its very social and you are guaranteed to meet other travellers when you go- which is a huge plus!

Wicked hostel for travellers. good vibe and social areas by the pool, at breakfast etc. Rooms were clean and quite large, good wifi and central for everything - walk to the old town, bike to the beach and the clubs! Breakfast was ok, some random choices for breakfast (vegetables, noodles etc. but thats vietnam for you!!) eggs and pancakes yum :)

Great breakfast, after 4 months travelling buffet breakfast was heaven! Staff all helpful, room big and spacious. Nice walk into town and we found a tailor on that road before we got to town which we ended up using as one of them. Great free shuttle bus into town as your back and fourth with fittings. Lovely stay and recommended.

Nice place for a relax stay on budget. The big plusses are the breakfast buffet and the swinmingpool. But please dont let the cleaners start at 08.30 in the dorms...

The pool, though a little overheated, is awesome, and makes for a great atmosphere at this hostel. Location is good, about halfway between the beach and the town, and bicyle rental is cheap, easy and worth it--the town is very flat so biking is a great option, despite the heat. I found the staff to be fairly unhelpful, with a low level of English and a fairly unaccomodating attitude. Had a great stay overall and would definitely recommend.
