Great breakfast, clean pool and nice bar area. A 20 min walk from town but on the way to the beach.
Fun place, great to hang out and meet people. Awesome breakfast.
Stayed in a double room for 20$/night. Room was cleaned and bed done everyday, which was great. Great "minibar"-prices, super nice breakfast. Service very average, they didnt really seem interested in helping you out with booking and stuff. No safety locker in room and poor door lock. A lot of very drunk people screaming most of the night. Quite far from the city center, but overall good value for money.
Big dorms, friendly staff, good overall service and facilities. I can recommend it.
This would have to be my favourite hostel that I stayed in in South East Asia. The outdoor pool was great for relaxing and very refreshing after a hot day of walking and cycling. The buffet breakfast was awesome. Definitely the best value hostel of my trip. My only minor complaint was that there was no soap in the bathrooms and never enough toilet paper. The beds could have used bed lamps and there weren't enough power outlets in our room, but otherwise a very spacious and comfortable stay!!
Only good think is breakfast. It is a hotel running as hostel. They said it's 4 beds and actually is 6. Too crowded. If you want to be relax, that is not the place.
Good: Provided train station pick-up service from Danang (not free). Included massive buffet breakfast with large variety! Small pool but didnt see anyone in it. Bad: a long walk to town/beach in opposite directions, shuttle bus was unreliable, staff will ring taxis. Location is not the best. No common area. Some staff were unhelpful. 4 computers but only 1 worked. Staff tried to overcharge us for our washing!
Great place to stay ! Awesome value for money and wicked breakfast!

This is where all the backpackers hang out. So it's very easy to be social and meet many people. I liked the location especially since it was so easy and cheap to rent a bike or a scooter. It was kind of dirty, I felt like I had to keep swiping sand and dirt off my bed. I was in the cheap dorm room and it is what you pay for it (about $6 I think). I didn't know people had to bring their own locks for the lockers, that was an inconvience, but overall a good experience. Best breakfast too.
On arrival I found the staff rude especially when they took my passport & I asked for it back & the staff member walked away. I booked a private room & was disappointed with the cleaniness & the conditions of power points that looked faulty.
Bathroom wasn't overly clean in our dorm room.
This place is a total scam. My booking confirmation states one bed in a four bed dorm. There were eight beds in the dorm. This is a dis-used hotel so imagine a standard sized room with four bunkbeds in it!! According to the stafff i got what i asked for because a bunkbed only counts as one bed. This is not acceptable. Really think some people from hostelworld should make some bookings there and see what they think of the overcrowded rooms and decide if they should be affiliated with sunflower.

Don't stay anywhere else when in Hoi An. Great place not downside is it's a bit of a walk from town
Great buffet breakfast, and very easy to meet people here. Really good atmosphere. The location was also pretty good since it was a short walk from the center of town, but close to a lot of food places.
This hostel is great. I heard from other backpackers that this is where all the backpackers stay in Hoi An and that is definitely true. Staff is great and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style and hands down the BEST BREAKFAST i've ever had at a hostel and better than many hotels. Really great buffet with so many different food options. Location is not the greatest as old town is a good 15 minute walk. Also, there was almost never any hot water for showers. Otherwise great hostel!
We were a family group of 5 travelling. The staff were all friendly, helpful and very welcoming. It was so easy to organize day trips through them and their recommendations were always spot on! After the first night my husband and I asked to be moved to another room as the one we were in was very noisy with people chatting that carried to our room. The new room was perfect!

Sunflower is a party hostel but it's too big with not alot of character. Good breakfast though.
Good hostel. Could be great! The hostel, to be great, should organise some event to get everyone from the hostel together at the bar.. Great facility, but incredibly underused... Hoi an is a surprising treat for nightlife, but to meet people and predrink at the hostel would make the atmosphere better. Also - need to fix wifi in the rooms.
