Amazing hostel, great backpacker community. Top 5 hostels we stayed at whilst in Vietnam for a month. However, they dug up a huge hole in reception where we course see (and yes very much so smell) huge piles of human shit..... Lasted about 2 days. Other than that, kick ass hostel. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. Even if you have to deal with the shit. Because it was still so good that even smelling shit 24/7 didn't make us change hostels. That should say something I guess?

Had a great stay here. The receptionists could be a little friendlier as they were distant, often distracted and weren't very interested or helpful. They did get everything i needed booked and they all worked out well but for recommendations and travel tips it was useless to ask. Rooms were great, breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! The pool and outdoor area is wonderful as well. Super clean, bed sheets were actually changed when people left ...gotta love hostels. Overall it's a good place to stay.

They were pumping sewage out from reception whilst I was staying there so the smell was horrendous Apart from one cheery receptionist everyone else needed to smile It was very noisy early in the morning and late at night Try and get a room not on the ground floor There shuttle does not run every half an hour more like 90/120mins The breakfast was great!

Good place to stay to meet other travellers the place was very clean and the breakfast was amazing I would definitely recommend

Honestly, don't get why everyone stays here. Breakfast Buffett is awesome and that's it. Beds sheets and pillows mouldy, pool not as nice as pics, over priced for what you get.

Big hotel that probably used to be really nice now converted into a hostel. Value for money is pretty good and it is easy to meet people. Pool is very clean :) The front desk staff was very nice, and breakfast in the morning is one of the best free breakfasts Ive had in a hostel. The bar staff was miserable and annoyed every time you ordered a drink even if you are polite and smiling. Bathrooms werent cleaned well and seemed to be minimal cleaning while I was staying there.

Amazing breakfast, terrible staff, perhaps a bit over priced but I suppose you're paying for the social atmosphere, which definitely delivers. Location isn't great, but there's a free shuttle bus into town (not back) if you can convince the staff to tell you when it leaves and not let it leave without you.

Came here after staying in a family stay so it was very different experience this is more hotel than hostel. Didn't really see the staff until I was leaving as they are just trying to get good reviews. However they seem nice enough. They were doing a lot of work to the place when I was there and they were making a lot of notice which ruined things a little.

the staff is rude, speaking loudly all the time, inpatient, and looked like pissed off all the time, especially Hein or Hien desk woman. The place is awful, dirty as f...., the sheets are not clean and look really disgusting and ugly. they don't bother to clean the rooms as other cheap places do, at least a quick dust clean

Such a great hostel would highly recommend it!

Not clean

Can't fault this place... Staff can be a bit groggy at times but just need a cuddle and a pet on the tummy every now and again. Free drink every night of your stay and the free breakfast is... Incredible. There's also a pool and everyone stays here because it is the BEST

Very busy hostel, perfect if you want a place with a party atmosphere. We met a lot of Westerners in this hostel and it is a good place to socialise with a pool/bar. Ideally located, next to the ancient town, markets and numerous tailors. Although a cab is required to get to the beach. The staff were helpful in organising our forthcoming ventures. The buffet breakfast was very good and probably the best one we had out of all the hostels stayed at across Vietnam.

Really good hostel, it has a swimming pool, ALL YOU CAN EAT (TASTY) BREAKFAST, big common area to hang out, free drinks every night, nice restaurant and bar. Definitely worth the stay.

Really good buffet breakfast and swimming pool !! Good prices and atmosphere.

Our second booking here was a private room. So much nicer than a dorm! Showers were hot; no flooding at 7am from the rain on the second floor. Still a great vibe at this hostel. Perfect!

Very good place to stay in Hoi An if you wanna meet fellow travellers to explore the city and area with. Huge breakfast buffet, nice hostel bar and even swimming pool. A few bars are across the street, but downtown Hoi An is a bit to walk. During the day, you can easily rent a scooter. If you go to the bars in town at night, make sure you stay with a group to avoid scammers on motorbikes.

Good value for money! The pool area and bar is great, good vibe in the evening. The guys who worked the bar at night were really friendly, unfortunately can't say the same for the women who work the breakfast shift. A smile goes a long way and I found them all to be very rude. The reception staff also made us feel like it was our fault the driver picking us up from the bus station went to the wrong one. It's the place to stay in Hoi An but the staff could do with a lesson in politeness.

Pretty solid place for backpackers. Great breakfast, nice area to socialise in the evenings with their own internal bar, table football and a pool. Only gripes with this place is the staff sometimes feel like they are giving advice to backpackers with the intention to make some cash, so take their advice with a pinch of cynicism. Also the hostel can get a little noisy at night so if you want a perfect nights sleep bring earplugs or book yourself into a private room. The town is a bit of walk.

It is a noisy Hotel/hostel. Even staying in a private room on the top floor we could here people all night till 4.30am. The room itself was good but no hot water. The cleaners cleaned out room in the morning and left our door open forgetting to lock it again so when we returned our door was open for anyone to go inside. The hotel offers free pick up and other shuttles which was good. However considering the money we paid for the room we could have gone somewhere else nicer for the same price.
