I stayed in a private double room and it was clean, the bed was comfy, the room was cleaned everyday and the minibar was restocked everyday as well. It has a great common area/bar for meeting people with a pool, pool table, and football. Free buffet breakfast was excellent every morning. It is a fairly good location right between the beach and the central market.

Good location, unreal breakfast and cool pool area but the staff here are shocking. Pushing you towards expensive tailors in town and then when we (there were three of us in a private room) had stuff made and notified reception that our things were being dropped to the hotel they left our tailor waiting outside for ages and refused to let us know she was outside. Only by chance did I find out when I went down to reception to see where our things were. Terrible! We won't go back b/c of staff.

Good, not great hostel. The morning breakfast is awesome and their communal showers before and after check out is really helpful when you have been on a bus all night. The wifi was spotty in the room. The bar at night is pretty cool and the pool during the day is lively. Would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Hoi an.

Best breakfast, all you can eat from 6.30- 10am! Great swimming pool in the sun all day! Bike rental just outside and only a 15minute walk to the old town! Right next to Vina Ngon the best restaurant!

Best breakfast ever!! Really good atmosphere and the swimming pool is great. The why not bar (10 min walk) and okd town is 30 min walk or rent a bike! Beach is great and not that far (10 min by car). You can do the motorbike tour to Hué. Ik booked the motorbike in the hostel and that was great!

no outlets in the room which was annoying we all had to share two plugs. The pool was nice. Good atmosphere.

The beds are acceptable and the hostel is very clean, however, the staff are rude, unwelcoming and generally unhelpful. One saving grace is that the breakfast is superb (all you can eat buffet) and the food is very competitively priced. Would recommend but be wary if you're not much of a party person or expect service to be delivered with a smile.

Large breakfast buffet, social atmosphere, pool, real showers and comfortable beds were the upsides of this hostel. Otherwise there was slow internet, poor location, not quite friendly staff and no lockers provided. Anyone could walk in and doors were never locked. Great place if you want to party like crazy, but those seeking a relaxing time avoid at all costs. Fun if you're 21 and looking to get smashed every night.

Dont book here !!!! Farm of cockroaches in both rooms i stayed in, having my room sprayed without being told with pesiticides which left bed damp n me itchy. 1st room wasnt cleaned during most my stay with smelly and stained linen n bathrooms were a hit an miss. Staff for most of stay seemed to hate their jobs n all very rude towards guests for example.. painting room n using our amenities as they wished, demand you to leave every 15mins from 9am on your last day though checkouts at 11am.

The breakfast buffet is amazing and sets you up for the day! The rooms are pretty spacious and really clean

Amazing breakfast, great atmosphere... Bad front staff.

The female staff is rude and unfriendly. Starting at the reception, at the bar and at the breakfast buffet. It might has something to do that it's very good booked all the time, so they got ignorant. but all in all it's a nice hostel and very famous in HoiAn. The pool is pretty cool and the breakfast buffet is awesome (don't miss it). It's a party hostel and you can meet a lot of people there. The hostel is a 5-10 mins ride with the bicycle from the center and 15 from the beach.

We stayed in a private twin room which was lovely - really spacious and good value for money. The room had a bath which was such a treat after travelling for a month!! The breakfast was pretty average, they focus on quantity over quality - we didn't like it. Location is ok, if you don't have bikes you need to get a taxi everywhere. If I come to Hoi An again I'd prefer to stay in the Old Quarter within walking distance to everything. No safe for valuables in the private room, no towels provided.

To be modest the whole stay was unpleasant. Saw the place and considered walking the other way. The dorms were dirty, the staff was overwhelmed, rude and loud, and the location was mediocre at best. Not enough outlets in the rooms and beds that felt like they were falling apart. But many of the negative things can be contributed to the clientele. 20 year olds gorging on cheap beer and ignoring personal hygiene. Only upside was the breakfast and pick up from the bus. Would not recommend.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Quite easily the most social. Pool/bar area is great, rooms are a bit small but beds are comfy and bathroom is fine. Plenty of food options around and can hire bikes and motorbikes to get to the beach or anywhere around town. Would only stay here if I came back to Hoi An. Risk - you may get stuck!

Arrived here after the night bus and wasn't able to check in.. We waited until half 9 ish and asked again to be told no but then suddenly a room became available. Some people weren't so lucky. Our room was ok to begin with but the sheets were damp. However on the 2nd night we were woken by what we think was a rat that had climbed down from the roof, and was rustling around in our bags . Staff were mostly unfriendly & extremely unhelpful. Shuttle to old town was good though.

Great hostel to meet people and the free breakfast was one of the best that we'd had in Asia! The rooms were clean and the staff were alright - nothing special! There are people outside the hostel to hire bikes from which was really useful and the beach is only a 10 minute cycle away.

I didn't like sunflower at all, it's a good place for meeting people and having a party, but that's all. The beds are incredibly poor and dangerous, no guardrail and one guy fell out from the top bunk. A girl dropped a glass bottle and staff were reluctant to clean it properly, the pool was dirty and gave people a rash! Possible because they put furniture in, i do not know. I recommend staying at DK's House! Great staff, great beds, close to old quarter and amazing vibe and people!

The beds were really squeaky. To the point it was impossible to sleep due to the noise if someone moved. Also no hot water. Bathroom wasn't clean. Breakfast was the saving grace!

My locker was missing the door. Some staff had an attitude. The restaurant was poor. There are people waiting out front to sell you stuff all the time. The beds were loud. It's actually a 40minute walk to the beach and 15 to old town. That being said the atmosphere was great. So of you want to meet people here works pretty well. I had a good time but that was down to the other guests.
