This hostel is definately on the route from Nah Trang, but for good reason. Free Breakfast buffet, pool, billiards, and a bar, plus easy transport booking, bike/moto rental, and pretty good location make it a solid spot to stay. The place gets a bit busy with late nighters, and is a little bit out of Hoi An, but overall a great value and a fun spot.

Breakfast buffet was great just get there early as other hostels have heard about it and the staff doesn't check to see if your actually staying there so it gets busy around 9-10. Location is a little outside the city center but they have a free shuttle every half hour and if you rent a bicycle it's not bad. Also the beach is fairly accessible as well. Clean rooms nice shower with hot water although a little expensive for a hostel ($9/night).

Great value for money, and really backpacker atmosphere, specially for lonely travelers. Great facilities and the swimming pool is totally worth it. They dont have party or much fun at night but you can get to it 15 min walking from there. The staff is a bit freaky and their english is poor, but somehow they are so fun and in stead of hating them, you just laugh with them.

This hostel is farther from the main part of town than you'd expect. It's a 15-20 min walk to the old city. The rooms are clean and the bed are comfy and the buffet breakfast was really good. But the atmosphere is all about drinking and I was woken up every night in my dorm room by returning people at 3am. Very annoying. Also annoying that the dorm room had only one private bathroom, 6 people had to take a turn. The staff was rude and yelled a lot, not professional.

Really happy with this hotel. The free breakfast was amazing, even better than home! Pool was also nice and clean. Room was okay, but not the best. The hotel is out of the way a little bit, but they do provide a free bus into the centre every hour. It is only a 15 min walk though. You can also hire bikes outside for $1.

+ good breakfast + nice back yard - the staff was quite rude. They even got kinda angry at me when they saw I had booked a day trip from an agency outside. Later they told me that the agency had called and told that my trip was cancelled (which wasn't true at all! They just tried to make me take their bus instead) - they tried to make me pay for someone others stuff - I had a worm in my lunch and the waitress didn't even care, she just laughed and walked away! - room in the first floor noisy

Great garden with swimming pool and excellent breakfast. Rooms could use a makeover + you can hear lots of noise from the hallway.

This was a nice place, clean and had a swimming pool, but maybe not ideal for a solo traveller as there isn't a proper chill-out common area to meet other people - it's a hotel with dorms as opposed to a proper hostel. And it's a bit of a walk from the centre of hoi-an. But it was nice overall.

The best thing in this hotel is breakfast, they have a great buffet with many options and you can eat all you want. We stayed in a private room for the first night and we loved it, it was clean and tidy. The second night we stayed in a dorm and was very dirty, but we think it was because of the peolpe staying in it and not because of a lack of cleaning. Staff is rude because they are always bussy having to much work. We highly recommed this hotel.

Sunflower was very good value for money, is well located and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is no lift so a 3rd floor room is a bit of disadvantage but overall it's a good way to base yourself in Hoi An.

Surly, discourteous staff. -> We paid in cash for breakfast, and then later the exact staff member I paid accused me of not having paid. -> THEY DEMAND TO HOLD YOUR PASSPORT UNTIL YOU CHECKOUT. **Not cool.** They might be willing to accept a $100 deposit instead.... like everywhere in Hoi An. (WTF!?) -> Our dorm room smelled like wet dog, so we canceled out booking and moved elsewhere. -> We had them do our laundry nonetheless, which came back smelling like a new kind of funk.

excellent hostel with great facilities, shuttle bus runs into town are great, though no one i met managed to get the driver to stop and let them in for the return ride to the hostel. personal touch is lost because so many guests, but staff very friendly and helpful. breakfast is amazing, best ive had in a hostel. not much to do except get some tailored clothes, but a peaceful town, especially at night where scooters and cars are banned from the old town. would stay here again.

This place is great, 4/5. It has great dorms, but lockers, free buffet (with good food). The only downside is that it’s a bit of a walk to the center (15 min). Staff are amazing and friendly; not minding us drinking our own alcohol at their bar and then in the lobby.

nice hostel, a little out of the way, clean facilities, murky pool but there if you really want it.

Staff are great (although a little busy at times), lockers big enough for your entire backpack, ten minute walk to the old quarter, ten minute cycle to the beach. Don't miss the free breakfast, it's awesome. Great place to meet people as I'm pretty sure it's the only (or one of) place in Hoi An that offers dorms. Would recommend.

Great place to meet other people. Quite a massive hotel though. Great breakfast. More or less a party place. Nevertheless I had a great time. Too bad the hotel taxi did not show up at the airport, but they refunded this. Rooms are very basic, and I would suggest to the hotel that they add more power plugs in the rooms to charge your mobile etc.

Great all the way around! Great staff and good free breakfast. They will bend over backward to help which is nice. Free fruit and coffee all day. Clean, with lockers and new towels every day. Cable in the dorm rooms. Comfortable. Couldn't ask for a nicer place. The only reason this place will grade lower is because it is stuck between a hostel and a hotel. So there is no attached bar with a pool table or something like this. Just a lobby with a few chairs. But hanging out in the dorm wasn't bad!
