Sunflower has one of the best included breakfast buffets I've had in a month. Good atmosphere and location. Nice communal area with a pool table, bar, food, pool, sun tanning chairs, and computers. Easy to rent push bikes or scooters to ride into town or to the beach. There are lots of little shops and spots to get food near by. 6 person dorms and double bed rooms are nice with working aircon, lockers, and ensuit bathrooms. Can do laundry and book buses straight out of hotel if you want. Good!!

The friendliest staff we encountered in Vietnam. A lot of the Vietnamese are extremely rude towards tourists but the staff at sunflower were fantastic. It was also worth paying the extra two dollars or so more than we usually would for the buffet breakfast and the pool!

The only negative about this place is it's kind of far from town so it's like a 15 minute walk. You can rent scooters and bikes but I'd avoid traffic in town and just head the opposite direction towards the beaches. I think this is the only place with dorms, so it's got a backpacker crew going through.

I didn't really like this place. It was quite far from the centre and the dorm was super-basic for that price. I eventually moved to a cheaper and nicer hotel which was closer to the centre. In the end, it was just an Okay-quality hotel without any atmosphere. The only good things were the free pick-up service from the bus-stop and the breakfast.

Only had a short stay at this hostel, the free bus pick up was great. It was clean and comfortable and the pool area was nice to chill out in. The breakfast food wasn't so brilliant but its included anyway. There are some nice restaurants nearby too! The staff are friendly but a bit disorganized, they managed to get us on a tour to My Son very easily but then there was some confusion over the bill about who had paid for what and when but overall a good stay and I would recommend it to others.

The reception staff can be a little surly at first but once they know you, they're very helpful and enjoy joking around. Great hostel for meeting other travelers and the buffet breakfast is awesome.

Incredible! Breakfast was phenomenal, right near the beach, bar with pool table and swimming pool in the garden. The room was lovely and clean so was the shower. Fantastic value for money I really cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you go to Hoi An stay here!

they sign everything with management that cares, but it's nothing that staff do anyway. There was only one girl actually smiled and were friendly. Did not like it at all here.

My stay at Sunflower in Hoi An was so enjoyable that I extended my stay for an additional two nights. Their dorms are clean and comfortable with AC, balconies, lockers and bathrooms. Their staff cleans and resplenishes the bathrooms daily. And the breakfast buffet is UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS! The price of the dorm may be a little above average for Vietnam, but the free breakfast, which features western and Vietnamese options and a ton of tropical fruit makes it worth paying a little bit more.

I thought the hostel was great. Was obviously a hotel who realised there was a gap in the market for hostels in Hoi AN and decided to shove some beds together in a few rooms and call it a hostel, but actually this works great as you have hotel facilities and still share room to meet people. Would definitely recommend!

Good place to stay, the dorms have a little spring break mood but the rooms are awesome. You can rent a motorbike just in front of the hotel and explore de surroundings of hoi an.

Has everything you need in a hostel. It's an old hotel so the rooms are a good size, even in the dorms and the bathrooms are proper en suite as you would expect in a hotel. The restaurant serves good food at a cheap price and the breakfast spread is superb. definite value for money. It's far enough from the town to be quiet yet close enough to explore. Good hostel and the staff are lovely !!

It was a nice change from staying at hostels, although the pool was really cold. The food was good, the staff was really nice and very helpful. The wifi worked really well, and the pool area was great for tanning. They have a free breakfast too which is really good, and there within walking distance of everything.

I stayed in the dorms this time. I felt treated like a backpacker at first, then they were nicer by the end. Hoi An attracts partiers and I had some nice dorm mates but a few came in 3 or 4 am noisily. Hostel/hotel is 10-15 min walk from heavy tout area/ market/ late night zone, and neighborhood shuts down early and is quiet at night. Nice patio restaurant / swimming pool. Laundry was 1st rate. Good place to meet fellow travelers. Recommend.
