As everyone else says, there is an epic breakfast buffet that makes this a great value for your money. Excellent place to meet other backpackers. A little far from old town but overall good location (12min bike ride from beach, 10-15min walk from old town). Do NOT book airport transfers with them as they claim only private cars are available for $15 but you can get a shuttle at many places for 110k dong
The best place to stay in Hoi An. Hands down. pool is great, breakfast is amazing!
Comfy beds with duvets. Staff a bit painful to have a conversation with. Swimming pool is nice, if a bit cold and there wasn't enough sunbeds for all the people at the hotel.
Had an awesome time here! Meet so many people and ended up traveling with them for a while. The breakfast was amazing! Loved it, would recommend it to anyone
Awesome place which served an excellent breakfast included in the price. The place has a big pool, bar area with pool table also. Rooms were pretty spacious and very clean. Only complaint is that there were only to power points in our 8 bed dorm which was a bit problematic. This is the plaice to meet other backpackers in Hoi An no doubt!!
Best breakfast in SEA!! Friendly staff- good wifi and very clean :))
I stayed at the Sunflower on 2 separate trips to Hoi An. I was impressed the first time so I came back! The breakfast is wonderful and the facilities are great. There is a pool, a bar, restaurant, staff is up late to sell you water when you get back from the bar! Great experience.
The staff is awesome and so helpful! Awesome place with great breakfast and wifi...a bit far from the centre but they offer a shuttle bus and you can rent bikes to ride around!
A good 20 minute walk up into the main part of town but also on the road out to the coast so best of both in a way. On the whole, had a great stay here and met some cool people. Inside cleanliness was good however there seemed to be rats out the back by the pool (didn't see them go for a dip).
Very nice place, the people help you all the time, good beds and lockers, have swinming pool and nice terrace... Breakfast is great! I recomend this hostel The only bad thing is the price for the room change ( nore cheap) and they charge me the first price fir all the night, resto all ok!
Pickup service, great breakfast, small swimming pool, 10 mins bike ride to the beach, 10 mins walk to downtown. Bathrooms and toilets could be waaay better but they have hostel prices...recommended.
This place was very good it's a little out of the main town about a 15min walk rent a bicycle is the best kinda of between the town and the beach. really nice good food in the restaurant and it has a pool
another quote that will praise the breakfast: its because it really is that good. I extended my visit from 5 days to 7 days because the whole hotel was a very relaxing place to be
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were lovely, the breakfast buffet was really good with a huge choice of food. Hot showers were amazing. We stayed in a 4-bed private room between 3 of us so very spacious. Hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Great place! Super friendly staff. Very nice rooms.
Stayed here as part of a very group. Well positioned between the beach & the town, but is a bit of a walk still. Beds very comfy. Good pool & bar area outside. And quite possibly the best breakfast I've had so far. An amazing buffet! Helped arrange an Easy Rider trip for us all and were amazing when one of us got lost in getting a message relayed to the guides.
There are cheaper options of similar quality in Hoi An for independent travellers, but for young backpackers in a group, this is a good option.

This place is in the middle of no where and offers no free or easy way of getting anywhere. The only reason people stay there is because its rated well on hostelworld and it has a bar so you can get drunk with people you just met. My suggestion would be to get dropped in old town and stay in an air condition private room in a homestay with a local family for half the price. Will mean it's easier for you to get to the bars as well!

A fantastic place to stay. Everyone seems to stay here so it has a great vibe. Small dorm rooms and a bathroom, which is great! You can rent a bike outside the hotel and cycle to the beach an town. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The best buffet breakfast in Vietnam.
Probably the best place to stay in Hoi An, as it seems most travelers in the city stay there too. The place itself is a little out the way, but the walk into the old town is not too challenging and the beach is just a short cycle away. The dorms are clean, comfortable and quiet, while the pool/bar area is a great place to chill out during the day (the food here is also good and cheap). And, of course, the buffet breakfast is one of the best I've seen in a hostel.
