It's a party hostel. If you are between 16 and 27 it's nice. If you're older then the staff will let it know you.

A friendly hostel - very sociable around the pool and bar area. Great to go as a group or especially as a solo traveller you can't fail to meet people and make friends here.

The hostel is quite a walk from the old town but it's not a problem really you can hire bikes for a day or the hostel has s shuttle to drop you off but you have to walk back. The reception staff seem nice most of the time but the restaurant staff are rude. This hostel is probably the least clean I've stayed in in Vietnam (I've stayed in worse in other parts of the world!), the aircon in my room didn't work very well and some of the lockers were filthy and you wouldn't want to put your stuff in!

Good hostel. nice dorm rooms, free breakfast, wifi, swimming pool. Big lobby and big breakfast area. Party atmosphere if you want. It works if your not into party party as well.

Booked for 1 night, stayed for 5. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom was clean. Best breakfast I have had on my travels. The restaurant served good, quick food at reasonable prices. The pool area and bar had such a vibe. Close enough to the beach and old town. Would go back any day!

Staff were rude and often aggressive towards customers. Almost certain we were cheated out of money by the check out staff but no way of proving it as CCTV was captured too far away and was blurry. Rooms only had 1 plug socket for 8 beds and not the cleanest hostel we've stayed in. Bath was stained permanently brown and not all lockers in our room worked meaning securing of valuables was difficult. Pool and bar area good for socialising but it'll be other people who make your stay.

Its a bit of a nightmare getting too and from the old town on a night. Taxis refuse to take you and the hotel shuttle bus isn't regular enough. You end up walking quite a lot. The pool is extremely dirty, the water needs changing asap. We stayed in a double room and it was quite good. We looked at the dorms and they aren't up to much. Its worth a stay but it needs a little bit of attention and it could be awesome.

Filthy. Rooms were cramped and dirty, all kinds of rubbish under the beds. Bathroom was horrendous I couldn't even use it the smell was that bad. Didn't get cleaned once during our 3 nights, sink and shower both blocked and stunk. Bed sheets were seen being reused simply folded and put back on the bed.

Bathroom and dorm room were unclean and cramped with only one plug socket between 8 people. Staff were average when dealing with us and we saw a girl get laughed in her face when she told them she had a randomer sleeping in her bed with her stuff no where to be seen! Far from the beach and main bars. Bar and pool area were okay, good for socialising. Booked 2 nights and only stayed for 1 - went to the Backpackers Hostel (DK's House) for a drink and wish we had stayed there instead!

Backpacker central in Hoi An, lots of people, decent bar and nice pool make it a nice sociable place to stay. The breakfast is also pretty big and varied. However the staff basically couldn't care less about running the place, are often quite rude and very dismissive, bag storage security is terrible, and the sheets/towels could definitely do with replacing or better cleaning Stay for the company, leave as soon as there is an alternative social hostel. Big bus ticket markup also.

the dormrooms were in a very poorly shape and there's almost no outlet that works. But the breakfast and the pool is amazing! And they have a free shufflebus going into town at some points of the day.

Good hostel generally, not particularly clean, great breakfast, good vibe, nice pool. A bit of a walk fro

Overrated, Hoi An is crying out for a decent hostel. Got recommended sunflower by so many people purely because everyone goes there - the food was crap, there's no storage room to leave your bag in, the bathroom was a state, and 50% of the staff were completely miserable. We also know of 3 people who caught pinkeye from the swimming pool. Hoi An is quality though, the only reason to choose sunflower is if you want to meet people and get boozy. Atmosphere was the best aspect, met cool people

Stayed in a twin room w/ a friend and I don't know what all the hype is about this place. It's in a mediocre location, the staff are horribly rude (we asked for towels, which we got begrudgingly, and rudely told not to loose them or we had to pay for them) the sheets were stained as were the towels. The hostel left shampoo in the rooms, which were half empty and had clearly been left from someone else's stay. I think this place is highly overrated and not good value for money.

Okay for a night or two but lacks atmosphere and the staff weren't brilliant..

Far away from the old town and from the beach , went to the reception twice and yet my bed was still not clean. The reception were rude and unfriendly . Won't not recommended. Instead stay at DK backpack hostel end up that makes my hoi an wonderful . Ps: bike in DK was free and sunflower has to pay for it .

Nice pool, nice bar with snacks. However our room really smelled bad and the staff are keen to earn their money. I would recommend for the atmosphere.

Thought the majority of your staff were extremely rude even when simply asking for directions!

Not a great hostel but not a bad one. About a 20 minute walk into town which sucks. Pool was great though and breakfast was also good. Having only one bathroom for 8 people which was pretty dirty wasn't that great either.

Restaurant staff is way to crancky and not pollite. Sunflower is a great place to stay but its nog because of the personell. You are a commercial company which should provide some level of customer service.
