A really good hostel, amazing breakfast and good outside bar/pool area for socialising. It's definitely a party hostel. Staff are really friendly and help you book tickets. Location is half way between the old quarter and the beach but you definitely need to hire a bike to get to these places.

Very good place with an incredible breakfast buffet!!! Location is great as well, the facilities are all good, staff is nice and very helpfull, great atmosphere since its crowded with backpackers... oh and did i mention they also have a pool?

Arrived off the sleeper bus and was able to get breakfast and a shower straight away and an early check-in. Staff were very helpful. Atmosphere was good and was easy to opt in or out of the party scene.

The hostel is clean, with good facilities and great location, close to restaurants, groceries stores and massage places. It is also at walking distance from the Old Town. Staff is very helpful and they can help you a lot with tours, bike and motorbike rentals and with transportation to other cities in Vietnam. Excelent breakfast! BUT it is not very quiet as it is packed with international youth eager for partying. Hangover atmosphere.

The beds were fine but there was no shower curtain or mat in the bathroom of the dorm, which made it a slippery hazard.

very good place to stay in Hoi An, decided to stay there one more day. Swimming pool, table outside...just very good. Staff very helpful and ready to give you the tips you need to enjoy the town

Not helpful, never smile to me.maybe too busy.not so good like hostel I've stayed before.

The staff are a friendly bunch who like to joke around. They're very helpful with their advice on where to go and booking a bus to Hue. It's a busy hotel filled with lots of young travelers. Breakfast was amazing and went till 11 with omelette ladies!! Close to town and only a 3km bike ride from the beach. You can hire a bike just outside the hotel for $1 a day.

Had heard many things about sunflower. We arrived, to check in and the staff were rude, and unhelpful when I had an issue with my booking. The room was nice itself, but the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in quite a while... The floor was dirty, sandy and hairy. It's way out of town, maybe 3km or more. Definitely hire a bike to get around hoi an, we did and it was great. Breakfast buffet here is good. Would be good if there was somewhere comfy to relax.

Loved the sunflower! It's the place to be in Hoi An - not too far from the centre and a bike to the beach. The best bit is the swimming pool and buffet breakfast. Don't forget to check out the 3000 dong fresh beer at the restaurants next door.

Nice hostel with good staff. Rooms are clean.

Enjoyed our stay here!A couple,twin room,cost $20 for a night,buffet breakfast included(average),air con,satellite tv

Good breakfast

Appeared to me as being the hostel everyone was in. I met so many people I had met before! Breakfast is legendary, neighbours do local beer for really cheap, you can rent a moped just by it too. Staff is welcoming and nice enough

The main backpacker place. Good hostel. A little away from the town and beach but wouldn't have stayed anywhere else.

Breakfast was great and the hostel was clean with a good atmosphere though a little out of the way it was still within easy walking distance of town. Only negatives were a bit of a mix up with our booking which was fine and that not all of the dorm rooms have lockers - tho mine did the 4 bed dorms didn't seem to which I wouldn't have been ok with.

+ Very popular with backpackers and therefore easy to meet people + Equidistant location between beach and old quarter + Sound value for money so far as the dorms being adequate and clean - Lack of lockers in dorms. Would feel much more secure if these could be added.

Fun hostel, not the cleanest I've stayed in though. All the beds in my room seemed to have a sandy residue on them, so I'm not sure the sheets were changed. It's definitely a party hostel, so go in knowing that! The breakfast is good, the pool is nice, and it was great having an ensuite bathroom in the dorm room.

Great breakfast and location. Lovely rooftop breakfast bar. New and modern. Can see beach from room. Not for meeting other travellers
