Excellent value for money, especially if travelling by yourself. Private hostel rooms can easily be double this price, because they are based on two people EACH paying 30-40 CAD. However, be aware that ANYONE can stay here... I was surprised to find my floor taken over by a large group of 12-year-old male campers (?) and a sign stating that the women's bathroom was consequently no longer the women's bathroom, and I needed to walk ALL the way around the building to use the other one. Oh well.

I think it will be nice if you have a wireless Internet, not everyone has a regular laptop device. Thanks.

I choose to stay at New College residence because it was inexpensive and right on campus. I\'d say it was pretty low quality for a dorm: I\'ve stayed in dorms in Europe, North America, and Australia, and most have been more comfortable than New College residence. Some specific things that could be improved: the ventilation system and the doors are quite noisy making it difficult to sleep. Still, I will probably stay there again if I visit U of Toronto in the future.

This is great value for money and the staff is excellent and very friendly and helpful. The location and access to the University campus facilities are unexpected advantages. Parking is easy, safe, convenient and inexpensive. Smokers should know the \\\"designated area\\\" is the great outdoors.

Only problems (none of which actually spoiled my stay) - the towel was tiny and thin so got damp on the first day and never really dry again. Also you have no control over the air conditioning, which was annoying as the one in my room was very loud and the dry air gave me nosebleeds. I had to open a window in the end to get the humidity up, which seemed like a horrible waste!
