Harbour
First-timersThe centre of town.

A small harbour town on the Lycian coast, with some of the best diving in Turkey, sea kayaking over a sunken city at Kekova, and a Greek island twenty minutes away by ferry.
Kaş sits on a small peninsula on Turkey's south coast, where the mountains meet a clear, deep sea. It was the ancient Lycian town of Antiphellos, and its Hellenistic theatre still looks out over the water, with Lycian sarcophagi standing in the streets.
It is a relaxed, low-rise town of bougainvillea and small bars, and the base for diving, sea kayaking and hiking on the Lycian Way. The Greek island of Kastellorizo lies just offshore.
Three days is right.
