BVJ Champs-Elysées sits right in the centre of the famous Golden Triangle of Paris landmarks. We reckon buildings don’t get much prettier than this! Our not-for-profit hostel is in a stunning 1800s mansion house. It’s open 24/7, and has been every day since 1948 – so no rushing home from a great night out. We've also got a bar with soft drinks that’s open round the clock. Tuck into our free French buffet breakfast each day; when the sun’s shining, enjoy your croissants and coffee in our oh-so-French courtyard, complete with a fresco by the famous French painter, Henri Gervex.

Your home from home is in the safe and quiet Plaine-Monceau neighbourhood, which is just under 30 minutes’ walk from the retail therapy delights of the Champs-Elysées (when strolling with a fresh espresso in hand, it’ll feel even shorter). Other highlights like the Modern Art Museum are also only half an hour away on foot (don’t forget your camera). The closest Métro station is Wagram, just an 8-minute walk away. When it’s time to say "au revoir", jump on the Métro 2 line to Charles de Gaulle-Étoile and take the RER train to the airport..

Rooms and Dorms

Rest those feet in one of our ultra-comfy bunks in our stylish rooms. Mixed and single-sex dorms are fun and social, and we also have twin and triple private rooms. Cleanliness at the top of your priority list? We’ll change your free linen as often as you like (just let us know). If you’re getting ready in a rush, borrow a hairdryer from the front desk. You can rent towels and adaptors for just 5 euros, too.

Extras and activities

Before heading out, pause to chat with our multilingual staff – they’ll get you set up with a free city map and tips on beating the queues. Save your data and plan your route with our free high-speed Wi-Fi (your phone bill will look better that way).

Great traveller friendly hostel. If a woman go in the biggest female dorm! It’s beautiful. Breakfast was good. Good location. Nice courtyard. Quiet and relaxed.

Hey there, I booked bunk only for a night at this place. The place is well located 15 mins walk to arc of triumph and 30 mins walk to Eiffel tower. The staff are very friendly and super supportive. They were generous enough to shift me to other room when I could not sleep because of a guy snoring heavily in the previous room. About the cleanliness of the room, it depends on who you share your rooms with. But the beds and rooms are well maintained for sure. 9/10 would recommend to anyone.😄

My friends and I stayed there for only one night but we really liked the hostel. The staff is very nice and helpful. They even let us left our backpacks in there after check out and we also could take a shower later on. The breakfast is also very good and the beds too. The location is also good, very close to the Arc and close to bus/metro station. I really recommend the hostel.

I stayed here for one night in a 6 bed dorm. Positives: - close to metro - clean rooms/bathrooms - good breakfast - nice courtyard/common space Negatives: - only 1 key per room, so you couldn't lock the door unless everyone was inside - front door of the hostel was unlocked (no buzzer) - really thin walls; I could hear everyone walking around and talking throughout the night - no lights in the showers, women's toilet was broken on my floor

Nights there will be hot... no air conditioning. Location looks great and even luxurious but the rooms are just standard and have some missing basic features like a light at your bed to read or a socket to charge your phone. Also no lockers available! I had btw NO experience with bed bugs....

The place was clean enough. The residents, not so much. Facilities left something to be desired and they fell short on providing what is expected like FREE towels and lockers. There were no lockers, at all and no kitchen facilities, at all. The location was good enough. It was very close to some of the big tourist attractions in Paris, other than that, it fell short.

Location is ok if you just want to explore Paris but couldn’t find the entrance door when I arrived. Reception was open all hours but the staff were rude and stopped everyone eating breakfast (disappointing) as soon as 9.15 came around. Check out was unnecessarily early and there was only one key for a room of 10 which was confusing

When I arrived the staff told me I was in a room but when I got there it was closed,I went back to the reception to ask for the key but he didn’t know where it was so he said “you can stay in the other room”,like? But okay. Each room has a key and the last one to leave it has to lock it and put the key back in the reception, which doesn’t happen, leaving the room always opened allowing anyone to get inside. But the worst thing EVER is that I saw rats inside the building multiple times, disgusting.
