Very mixed. We had two rooms. One ok, one with collapsing ceiling, broken plumbing. Facilities very basic: toilets had broken door lock, showers a bit better. Staff helpful except very grumpy manager. Pretty loud at night. Good loction, grand old tired building. Free breakfast is bits baguettes, jam and Nescafé. Needs investment to fix the building... And the coffee machine.

The building itself is nice but it desperately needs renovation. We pretty much only slept there as we spent all day out Pros: superb location, metro station is 2 minutes walk, also close to Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysées. Breakfast included (although we were gone earlier so don't know the quality). Night receptionist was super helpful. Cons: window in our room didn't lock. No lockers to store luggage. No sufficient amount of sockets to charge phones. The one key per room is a bit strange.

Read all the reviews before you book so you know what you're getting yourself into. Pros: Good location, nice architecture, included breakfast. Cons: Not enough facilities (i.e. shower/bathroom stalls), one key per room shared between 10 people, no lockers, luggage storage isn't supervised, MICE IN THE ROOM. Came back to find my bag had been chewed through by a mouse or a rat (I didn't stay long enough to figure out which) - Front desk was unfazed about the whole thing, didn't offer much help.

You get what you pay for. Bathrooms with broken locks, bed sheets with holes in them, and crumbling dry wall were just some of the things I noticed. You also had to share a physical key with your dorm mates. One key between 4 people. When I left early in the morning I had to leave the door unlocked because I couldn’t lock it from the other side without taking the key. Overall I wouldn’t stay there again. It was cheap, staff were friendly and a good location but it was not well maintained.

Got to stay in room 2h past checkout. Good breakfast & location but not worth it. One (female) toilet/floor, barely fit normal sized person, smelled like pee all weekend, saw a roach. Only plugs are by the door, (no USB). Cash only. No keycard for rooms. $5 towels, must buy can't rent. Staff was uninterested/ing. The bathrooms were grimy, bring shoes! No lockers whatsoever. Luggage room is "safe" but disgusting. "18-35" but there were kids & 40+. They don't use computers, think about that...

DO NOT STAY HERE MICE EVERYWHERE. I stayed here November 8-10th and a mouse was in our hostel room the entire duration of our stay. The mice ate all my food in my backpack and chewed through the entire bag. Another girl in the hostel had her bed sheets completely chewed through. Another girl also had her backpack destroyed. Could not sleep in the night because you could hear the mouse running and scratching against the floor and walls. Told the hostel staff and were extremely unhelpful. DONT GO
