Koisi was the nicest hostel we stayed at our whole three month trip around Europe. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm and was roomy, very clean and the beds were super comfy! The night we arrived it was assumption day and there was a beautiful firework outside our window. Staff were friendly and helpful! A bit pricey but all of San Sebastián is so do recommend.

Clean and spacious hostel with a great location. The neighbourhood is quiet and beautiful, a ten minute walk from Ondarreta Beach and close to Monte Igueldo. The hostel is not a typical hostel. No real kitchen. There are kids and elder people living there. Many wake up early to go hiking. The staff don’t give a lot of information about the hostel or the city. It’s hard to practice Spanish with the staff, if they notice you’re not a native they will switch to English straight away.

Really clean and spacious rooms. The shower and toilet very clean however our ‘en-suite’ room was a shared bathroom with another room and the shower door had no lock and didn’t close fully. The kitchen food looked nice and breakfast was well priced however we didn’t get it. Location was 40 minutes out of town and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Although we much enjoyed our stay.

    Fabulous

Pros: Nicely set out, clean hostel. Not too far of a walk to the beach. They have a cute bar/cafe at the entrance. Elevator to get to top floors, good chill out areas. Cons: it took 40 minutes for check in (the need two people at front desk), there is no kitchen just a small common area with kettle and microwave, self service laundry is pricey (4e wash, 3e dry - but dry didn’t fully dry so needed to pay again).

Nice hostel with friendly staff. The airconditioning is nice, showers are really good, but beds are a bit short (and im 1.61 meters!!!). Hostel is quite far from the old town (30 minutes walking) and the hostel is quiet. Lot of rules: no party, no music, etc...

Absolutely not worth the money. This hostel was SO expensive, and was such a waste of money. The only good part of the hostel was the pod-like beds. The rooms were cramped, the 'kitchen' facilities were a microwave and a fridge, not even a sink to wash dishes in. There were only two toilet/shower cubicles shared between an entire floor, they always smelt bad and there was water ALL over the floor 24/7. I would absolutely not recommend staying here, don't waste your money.

Why is this place rated so highly? There is absolutely no charm or character in the hostel outside the lobby/eating area. There is a potentially fantastic outdoor space on the first floor, but it's just empty and sad feeling. Security at the hostel is terrible. We were told four extra people came in and slept in the 6 bed dorm. Customer service is also bad. They made no effort to fix the problem of these extra people, and were rude to a guest about a payment issue. Not enough toilets or showers.
