We are ready!

The Koisi Hostel is taking every necessary measure to increase hygiene and security measures in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.
- We’re equipped with sanitization in all common areas and public spaces
- Enhanced cleanliness
- We’ll be operating in full compliance with CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) recommendations

We are situated in El Antiguo (named precisely for being the original nucleus of the city), that lies adjacent to Ondarreta Beach and Mount Igeldo. It is a peaceful and elegant area, but also very vibrant. Home of some of the best tourist attractions such as the Palacio Miramar, Concha Bay, Ondarreta Beach and the Wind’s Comb, admirable work of the sculptor Eduardo Chillida and today one of the city’s most iconic and beautiful corners. The staff was excellent in helping us with so much information about restaurants, sites, transportation (buses, taxi, routes. Their restaurant served very well made dishes and staff there was so very pleasant. Good relax environment with a sense of humour. Very personable staff. Comfortable, quiet, peaceful.

This place is great! It must be low season because I think I only saw one other guest my whole stay there. I’m not sure why booking was so low-it’s a great place. Comfy beds, big storage lockers, laundry, great showers, outlets and lights in bed pod, very cute common areas, was great! The staff was also very warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Full pintxos in the lounge bar in the evening. It’s a 5 minute uphill walk from the bus stop, but totally worth it. Would stay again for sure!

Really nice place. The staff were really helpful and the hostel was clean, with great social areas but also privacy in the pod-style beds. It is a bit of a walk to the old town, but it’s along one of the best views in Spain, so not complaining!

Very comfy beds, clean rooms and bathrooms (though the rooms smelled a bit musty), and a good 4€ breakfast. Though it was a walk from the old town it was a walk along the beach so we didn’t mind. Would stay here again for sure!

The staff was amazingly kind and helping. The place is very clean. Temperature at the shared room was too hot which made it difficult to fall asleep, and the room felt too humid and lacked some fresh air.

Beautiful Hostel, but definitely a bit of an uphill walk to get there. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless and the hostel is only a few minutes from the beach and some nice restaurants. No proper kitchen, but there is a fridge. Atmosphere is probably great when in season but it was pretty empty during my stay.

Loved my stay at this hostel, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. The only two things are that there is no real kitchen (just as stated on their page) and the doors don’t close well in most of the areas (bathroom as well) because the handles are broken.

    Very Good

Nice hostel although a ways from Old town and get ready to take a walk uphill to get here. The hostel is nice, almost a bit sterile. The security is very good with electronic doors. I was here at Halloween, they had a bunch of kids carving pumpkins. Lots of fun.
