Brisas del Arenal

The perfect place to get away from the buzz of everyday live. Surrounded by forest and tropical gardens you can lay yourself down in a hammock and enjoy the peace and quiet. From your cabin youll have a stunning view of the impressive Arenal volcano. Although being very close you are totally save because we are located at the green non active side of the volcano.

Our gardens on our 12 acre (5hectare) property are visited by numerous birds of all colors and sizes. There are wonderful Toucans and you can constantly see hummingbirds hopping from flower to flower. There is a trail on the grounds that you can walk to see more birds and wildlife like slots and howler monkeys.

The flora is impressive with a wide variety of heliconias and numerous other types of flowers, trees and plants.

We offer spacious rustic style cabins which have two double beds and a bunk bed that can house 6 persons. They are all well equipped with AC, refrigerator, seating and a large bathroom. Outside you have your own private terrace with seating and a comfortable hammock. All cabins have the same impressive view of the volcano.
We are a small scale family run project with only 4 cabins on our grounds. The small amount of cabins makes it possible for us to give you the personal attention that you wish and it ensures that all remains nice and tranquil. If you wish we can make you breakfast and we have laundry service you can use. For those who come with a car it's good to know that all cabins have their own very safe private parking space.


Our place is located on the lower slopes of the volcano at about 10 minutes away from the La Fortuna town center. The easiest way to get to us is by is by going to the office of Red Lava tours at the bus terminal (next to the Mega super supermarket) in La Fortuna. All public buses coming into La Fortuna stop here and if you come by car its also very easy to find (just ask for el terminal de buses). The bilingual staff of Red Lava tours will help you get to our cabins. They will either drive you to our place or guide you in case you are coming with a rental car.
