Playa del Ritmo

Good location by the beach, away from the noise of the busy city Santa Marta. Really recommend if you like to be quiet by the beach. Stuff are nice and friendly. The room and other common area were really clean. The view from the room was beautiful. The only thing I wished for was more options for the restaurants and small shops. Other than that, we had really good time.Thank you so much!

I wanted to stay close to the airport as I had a flight to catch, and wanted to enjoy the beach the day before my flight. I definitely did. The hostel was nice, there are no actual windows in the dorm which means you can hear everything. Not recommended for light sleepers. Earplugs helped me. Reception staff was warm, restaurant staff a bit less. Food was fine, lots of veggie options. I enjoyed my stay here, loves the bohemian vibe and the many dogs, cats, the beach. P/Q is medium.

I had an amazing time at Playa del Ritmo! If you want a relaxing beach vacation, this is the place to stay. It’s in a part of town that is quiet but still a short taxi ride away from center city. The beach only got busy on Sunday. The food and drinks were delicious and a decent price. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Extra points for animals- they feed the local iguanas in the morning and have a few friendly dogs and cats on the property. I can’t wait to come back!
