I loved staying at this Hostel. I felt very safe as a female solo traveler and it really felt more like a home than a hostel. Gerald was so caring and always wants to help you in whatever you need. Even though it’s located at the edge of the city, i would recommend this place. And even at night it felt really safe in the area. Muchas Gracias por todo Gerald

I had an amazing experience at this hostel, is incredibly relaxing, with everything you could possibly need – a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy common area, and a very comfortable room. The owner Gerald was exceptional, he made the experience even better by sharing a real Costa Rican life. He was always available to help us find the places we wanted to visit and gave us amazing tips. I highly recommend this hostel to backpackers looking for an authentic and welcoming place to stay.

Gerald and his family were super welcoming from the moment we got there the place felt like home. He gave us a tour of the house as soon as we got there and gave us a list of activities we could do while we stayed. We chose to do the sloth tour with him and he was excellent he guarantees you see at least 5 sloths and he definitely delivered! We saw 10 sloths some monkeys and a toucan overall a great experience and an extremely respectful/kind person.
