A family owned and operated hostel, with a very relaxed atmosphere. The owner Gerald was lovely and provided many recommendations for the stay. With a kitchen, secure parking and laundry, they have everything you need. They also offering tubing.

This hostel was truly a home! Such a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Gerald and his family were wonderful! He helped me book transportation and offered other excursions… overall he is just a fantastic person! He even brought his telescope and showed me birds and iguanas in the trees surrounding the house. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay, I would definitely recommend!

The place was wonderful, 15-20 minutes walking to the downtown, or $2 Uber. Full kitchen with everything you need. Gerald is a legend—we asked to see Sloths and he went and pointed to one in a tree across the street!! Highly recommend staying with him and his family. And book your tours with him, was wonderful!!
