Overall not a bad place to say, but definitely has more of a hotel vibe than hostel one. The rooftop is nice but the hostel lacks ways to help travelers socialize with each other. There are a few daily activities, but other hostels have a much better selection and communication system. Breakfast was also not very good, felt like it was kinda flavorless. Overall it’s safe, clean, and a nice base while in town, but if you’re looking to socialize, you might stay elsewhere.

Really enjoyed my stay in Masaya! Really good dorms and comfy bed! With a lot of privacy. The locker is the biggest I have ever seen. We have enough space in the dorm and it was clean. Lot of free activities, Yoga and cooking class with Mauricio! The rooftop is awesome! Super staff :))
