The staff at 2Kronor are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and prefered it to my stay in Gamla Stan. The rooms and especially the kitchen are a bit more generously cut. Stockholm is very expensive, but I think the 2Kronor offers good value for money. I would definitely reccomend it.

This is the third time I have stayed at 2kroner hostel in Vasastan. I come each year for Supermarket Art Fair at Kulturhuset. I find the staff very pleasant and they will go out of their way to help with anything.

Really nice hostel. We enjoyed our stay. The only negative point is that we lost 40e when the poubelles where emptied.

Everything was OK. Hostel was clean and quiet - a bit too cold inside though (we were visiting in the end of November). There was no heater in our room...and also no windows. Staff is there only in the morning and in the evening but they are extremely helpful and nice. The location is convenient, close to a subway station (5 minute walk) and to a grocery store (2 minute walk).

After having spent time at 5-6 hostels in Stockholm I now can better compare the different places. This hostel is a great hostel with a nice building and nice facilities. It feels like high starnard for hostel which corresponds to the price. However, I get the impression that the hostel (just like some others) think it is a bit "bothersome" with guests since there are so many admonitions you get reminded of (3-4 times) even before you arrive at the hostel. All in all though, I'd stay here again!

Just some details with the entrance door. I wasn´s able to enter one day until the girl from the reception arrived. The rest was actually great! Muchas gracias!!

Me and my friend checked in the hostel, but the room (for 6 people) was very small. I couldn't even open my suitcase properly. The front door to the hostel was unlocked, so anyone could come in. Also, there were some shady people standing in front of the entrance who looked at me in a not so nice way. I did not trust the neighborhood nor the security of the hostel so we checked out 2 hours later. The only good thing I can say is that the woman at the reception was very nice and helpful.

The front door is only unlocked during opening hours. This is a sign of hospitality and has never caused a security issue. Vasastan is considered to be among the most secure areas in Stockholm and Stockholm itself is a very safe city. It is unfortunate that you didn't stay longer than 2 hours, I'm convinced that you would have discovered more good things than the staff.
