Great hostel, very central, reasonably priced. If you stay at the second building there is a (very good) cafe, a laundromat and a sports bar down stairs. My girlfriend picked up some bites on her skin, not sure if it was bed bugs or not as we have had no problem since (no clothes infestation or anything) and the place seemed really clean.

Although this hostel is located in Central Athens and is somewhat close to Syntagma Square, it looks rough as all get out. The taxi warned us that the neighborhood was not safe and not to walk around at night. There is a security speaker to get in but we couldn't get in until a resident happened to come through the door. The hostel is located on the top floor of a creepy looking apartment. You get what you pay for.

The hostel is just ok, but on the way to the hostel is a bit scary with people and the surrounding.

This place is full of good intentions, but that's about it. If you get a kick out of wading through prostitutes in the morning and being in one of the most dangerous areas in Athens, then maybe you'll like it. On a more serious note, the rooms were disgusting. The sheets smelled of body odor, the rooms and the showers were extremely dirty, and worst of all, all the rooms in the hostel had the same key (even the private rooms). MASTER KEYS, WTF.

It was a great find for a cheap price. The staff is really nice and always willing to help. You get what you pay for. The bedroom was very clean but one thing that grossed me out was the refrigerator it hadn't looked like it had been cleaned in 4 months. Like people in the past have said the hotel across the street has prostitutes that stand outside and work their magic. They don't bother you at all unless you confront them. And this section of town has taxi service all the time. Ideal location.

Hostel is located downtown just a few meters aways from metro station. The area looks more dangerous than it is. The hostel provides keys for room and main entrance which makes you feel more safe but the reception wasn't there around 8am when i wanted to check out and when there they were always smoking. Wireless internet works smooth. They provide electric blankets for warming but it seems i needed something to prevent from mosquitoes (even during March). Value for money if only for sleep.

Our rooms were still not cleaned at our arrival. The showers were not that much, but you could shower in them. A different story for the kitchen. There were about 2-3 pots and pans, no plates whatsoever and a few forks, knives and spoons(most of them still dirty). Cooking was harder than Mission Impossible III... The rooms on the other hand were big, had a balcony and the beds were decent. Some advice: Don't walk alone in the neighbourhood, the people there aren't the friendly looking type.
