The Day of the Dead is one of the most important traditions in Mexico. A celebration in which people remember their loved ones who have passed away, spend time with them and make all kinds of offerings. It is a special moment to remember that death is nothing more than a step towards eternity and that there is no need to fear it. It is a joyful festival where life is celebrated with food, music and lots of colours. These are some of the Day of the Dead photos that will make you fall in love with Mexican culture and want to go to Mexico if you haven’t had the chance to live this incredible experience yet.
1. During the 1st and 2nd of November the dead descend to the earthly world to be reunited with their loved ones.
