About

Gravitas Hostel is a streamlined modern hostel located in the heart of Split. Everything that Split has to offer is right next door, including UNESCO protected World Heritage zone. Our staff consists of experienced locals that will help you with everything you need, including making arrangements and providing essential information. The Hostel is entirely located on the ground level and has a direct street entrance.

Right around the corner there are multiple markets, café bars, restaurants, fast foods, bakeries, laundry service, ATMs, Bus stops and everything else you may need during your stay in Split. There are two large paid city parking zones in the close vicinity.

Gravitas Hostel itself features two large mixed dormitory rooms, large common room great for socializing and meeting new people, two sweet and always clean gender divided bathrooms.
We DO NOT have a kitchen, but we do have a refrigerator, microwave, grill toaster and an electric kettle. The hostel is also surrounded by many markets and food shops.

I LOVE this hostel from the start I was welcomed warmly and offered great recommendations restaurants, things to do, all of it. Boris especially knows his stuff; everything he suggested was spot on. Beds have proper privacy curtains and the lockers fit a full pack (key included, so don’t stress about bringing one). Showers were always hot, clean, with good water pressure. They clean the place a few times a day and you can tell. The kitchenette was stocked and tidy. I can’t wait of come back!!

The hostel was really great. The bed had curtains and a towel was included. The aircondition worked well and they had duvets if you needed it. Everything was clean and the staff was really friendly. They are locals so they know a lot about the area and the history and they will have recommendations if you ask.
