Really cool place, feels fit for the setting. Functions fine enough for a hostel in a humid, island environment. Staff were chill, and usually around so felt somewhat secure. Could be cleaner but not a deal breaker.

When we arrived at 5 am, we entered our private room to find people in our bed. They could not find their own room, so just used their code on every door they saw until one worked. Their room code worked on both their own room (which we easily found after searching for 3 min with them) as well as our room. This is a major lapse in security. We had dirty sheets, a filthy mattress, roaches in may places, and broken amenities in the bathroom. Staff were nice, but it was a terrible experience.

Basic hostel, was expecting better based on prior reviews. Staff was not the most hospitable in my opinion. Bathroom was pretty dirty/smelly, and room was too. Bugs/small insects crawling around room. Shower curtain probably hadnâ€™t been changed in 1 year. Cats all over and even go in room. Kitchen was okay and location okay too. Prob wouldnâ€™t go back though.
